The next morning, Danny was called down to father Bryce's office, stating it was a family emergency. Rolling his eyes, he flashed his crush a cheeky grin before grabbing his stuff and leaving the classroom. Minutes later, he arrives at father Bryce's office and walks in, unfazed at the sight in front of him. It was his sister, standing across from him with a smile plastered on her face

"What is she doing here?" Danny sneered, staring her up and down

"Luna came down earlier, said she wanted to talk to you. She said it was important." Father Bryce says

"What are you going to do, stab me in the back again?" Danny clenched his fists

"Listen, Danny. I know you're upset, but we can work this out. We've gotten in scrabbles before, but we always found a way to forgive one another." Luna began

"Forgiveness? That's why you're here? You want me to forgive you because you feel guilty about what you've done? Good, I'm glad. I want that guilt to crush you from the inside out! I have always put my trust in you, always. Never did I think that in a million years, you would be the first person to break my heart." Danny's voice quivered

"Danny, come on. You have to understand why I did what I did. I never meant to hurt you." Luna reached for him

"Am I supposed to feel sorry for you or something? Luna, you were always mom and dad's top priority! I was nothing more than scraps at the bottom of a pan. You're their prized pupil, always have been. I'm just living in your shadow, like always." Danny rambled

"Please give me a chance to explain." Luna whispered

"No! I trusted you and you broke that trust. I've said all I needed to say. Now do yourself a favor and head home. You've wasted your time and mine." Danny seethed

Without as so much as a glance towards his devastated sister, Danny leaves the office and slips around the corner, clasping his hand over his mouth to muffle his cries. Tears began to flow down his cheeks, moving faster than a river. Looking up, his blurry vision soon turns clear as he makes out a familiar figure standing in front of him. There stood Ryder, in front of him with his arms extended. With no hesitation whatsoever, Danny ran into his arms, burying his head into the crook of his neck while he wept

"I'm here." Ryder says

"Were you here this whole time?" Danny cried

"Another one of my habits consist of eavesdropping, so yes." Ryder whispers

"I know I should feel good for standing my ground, so why do I feel so bad?" Danny muffled

"She's your sister, Danny. That bond between you, it'll always be there." Ryder stroked his golden locks

"You'd never hurt me, would you?" Danny sniffled

"I care about you too much to ever put you through any type of pain." Ryder says

"All of this crying is making me famished." Danny held his stomach

"Let's go. I got a secret stash in my room. You're the one and only person who knows, so keep it on the DL." Ryder booped his nose

"Your secret's safe with me." Danny smiled

While the boys were on their way back to the dorms, Chasity and Nessa were in their room, lying down on the bed and resting. Letting out a yawn, Chasity lied her head on her girlfriend's chest, trying her best to keep her eyes open while Nessa ran her fingers through her curls

"You're getting sleepy already? It's still morning." Nessa cackled

"It's all your fault." Chasity grumbled
