Chapter 19

You burst out laughing, smacking your hand on the counter out of pure laughter. Kid is also laughing like a maniac, he almost fell off from his seat.

"HAHAHA!! THEN WHAT HAPPENED?!"

seems like alcohol has awaken another side of you. You seem far more cheerful than before and same goes for Kid.
Once the alcohol kicked In, he started telling random stories from his crew.

"THEN HE GOT STUCK BETWEEN THE WOODEN DECK! HIS ASS WAS HANGING DOWN FROM THE INSIDE-"

You were laughing too damn hard, you could feel the tears of laughter forming.

"STOP! I CAN'T BREATHE"

his weird laughing was making the story even more funnier.

"WHEN WE FINALLY GOT HIM OUT, HIS PANTS WERE TORN APART, MOTHERF*CKER WASN'T EVEN WEARING AN UNDERWEAR!"

"BAHAHAHAHAAAA"

People in the bar were all giving you two some odd looks but you couldn't care less. You were having a lot of fun.

After ten minutes of nonstop laughter, two of you finally calm down.

"You're more fun to chat with when you're drunk."

You chuckle and turn to him

"Look who's talking! You aren't as grumpy as I thought you were!"

"Grumpy?"

He acts offended, you order another pair of drinks for two of you.

"You seemed more grumpy than.."

You pause, recalling him.

"Who? Who?"

"NEVERMIND."

you grab your beer and drink it.

"Tell meee."
You sigh and lazily roll your eyes.

"Law."
You whisper quietly so nobody could hear.
"Huh? Trafalgar?"
You nod, scooting his beer near him.

"PFFTT DON'T COMPARE ME TO THAT GLOOM F*CK."
You choke up on your drink and burst out laughing.

"Who is he to you?"

"My..."
You space out just by thinking about him. Maybe it's because of the alcohol?

"He's just my friend"

You know damn WELL, people don't have that sort of feelings for friends.

"So you're single?"

That question caught you off guard.

"I guess I am."

He suddenly snakes his hand around your waist.

"But..I have someone in my heart."

He stops his actions and pulls his hand away.

"Who?"

"That's a secret."

You order a whole bottle of wine to take later.

"When was the last time you saw that person?"

"What a weird question...it was a year ago."

"You must've set your eyes on that certain person."
