When the doorbell rings Caleb and I jump up. "I doubt the pizza is already here." I tell him and sprint to the door, excited to see my boyfriend.

I open the door and there he is, wearing long black jeans, sweater and leather jacket and his helmet in hand. Now I know how he got here so fast.

"Good morning." I say to greet him.

He raises his eyebrows at my greeting. "Morning? It's one in the afternoon." He mocks me.

I roll my eyes and step aside so he can come in. "Good afternoon then." I say and lean in to give him a kiss.

He's taken by surprise as he quickly jumps back and looks at me bewildered when Kevin comes walking our way.

"Hi!" Kevin greets him, and puts his arm over my shoulder, leaning onto me.

Austin looks a little confused, knitting his brows into a frown.

"So, you're the guy who turned my bestie here gay?" Kevin asks him dumbly.

"Ugh." Austin says, searching for help from me.

"Ignore him." I say and push Kevin's arm off me to step forward towards Austin.

I lean in to give him another peck on the lips.

This time Austin doesn't look at me as confused. When I pull away I see the most beautiful smile I've ever seen.

"Ew, I really didn't need to see that." Kevin says, making gagging sounds.

I roll my eyes and then look back to Austin, who's still looking as happy as ever.

"The pizza still isn't here. Care to show me your bike?" Kevin asks Austin. "I wanna get a motorcycle license once I'm eighteen." He says proudly. "I'm already enrolled for the course in spring, I had a moped."

"Sure." Austin says and holds his helmet out for Kevin. "You can try it and ride around the block if you want."

I quickly grab the helmet from Kevin. The last thing I want is Kevin crashing Austin's motorcycle. "Kevin had a scooter, I don't think that is a good idea."

"Oh come on, Sammy, you're so boring." Kevin whines, stomping his foot.

I set the helmet down on a cupboard next to the shoe rack, not taking my eyes off Kevin. "You don't even know how to shift." I argue.

Austin starts laughing and Kevin's face turns a shade of red. "Of course I know how it works. I'm not stupid." He claims, but I know he doesn't. Kevin often gets himself in stupid, dangerous situations because he claims he knows something he doesn't, but is too proud to admit it. For my own safety, I learned to detect those lies.

"You can still sit on it." Austin suggests instead. "I can snap a picture of you if you wanna."

Kevin doesn't need another word and runs outside, pulling Austin with him.

I grab Kev's shoes und hold them put the door.

He comes back. "Right." He puts on his shoes.

I smile as I watch Kevin pulling Austin out of the driveway and then Austin points his head to the motorcycle and Kevin cheers and runs over to it. I'm pretty sure they didn't talk at all yesterday. Seeing them interact makes me unbelievably happy.

"Boo." Carla screams in my ear, making me jump out of my skin.

"Looks like Kevin is taking the news really well." She says as she spots Kevin and Austin outside.

"Of course he did." I agree happily.

Ten minutes later I'm sitting on the couch with Caleb and Carla, when Austin and Kevin come back in, pizzas in hand.
