"Sammy!" A whisper wakes me up.

Who is it that's whispering to me? The voice sounds familiar.

"Wake up, bitch." Austin says. His demand is followed by a slap to my ass.

I groan annoyed and try to get the blanket that's lying on the bed right next to me.

"I already packed. Want breakfast?" Austin asks as he climbs on top of me as I turn on my back.

"Packed for what?" I ask confused.

"For our climbing trip with Matt and Lisa." He says with a wide smile.

"Did I agree to this?" I ask confused, having no memory of anything related to going climbing.

"Yup." He says and nods his head. "You even agreed you wanna talk to Lisa for a few hours straight when she gets bored of rock climbing."

I sit up and push him back with a gasp. "You're lying!"

"Do you wanna come climbing with us?" He asks. "I can also just bring you home."

Home. At home I will just go straight back to being sad that the email is not accessible.

"Yeah, I agreed already, didn't I?" I ask Austin.

He nods and then sighs. "Sammy, you were kinda high yesterday."

I hold up my finger. "That was nothing illegal."

"Does it matter?" He asks me with a sad expression.

"I was just scared of- well, I was so aggressive yesterday. I just wanted to calm down and to avoid having nightmares." I explain to him.

"I know that. I understand yesterday wasn't easy for you. But you shouldn't rely on pills to make it better." Austin says.

I play with my fingernails, staring at my hands instead of his disappointed face.

"Hey, it's okay, but I'm just concerned. Why didn't you call me or something?" He asks.

"You were at work." I remind him.

"And I can take a call if it's important." He tells me.

"It's alright. Okay? You don't have to worry. I won't do that again." I promise.

Austin seems somewhat satisfied and gives me a kiss.

We have a small breakfast and then Austin grabs two helmets.

I instantly smile at him. "We're taking the motorcycle?" I ask.

He nods his head and hands me my helmet and then also hands me the heavy ass backpack.

It's honestly so much fun to ride on the motorcycle with Austin. I get to hug him and enjoy the ride.

We stop at my house to grab my climbing shoes and chalk bag. My mom wants me to stay home and talk and get me to take her car instead, but I hurry out before she can get a full sentence out.

It takes us around thirty minutes to get out of the city to where we wanna go climbing. When we arrive where we wanna park, Matt and Lisa are already waiting.

We greet each other and then hike up the trail to the rock wall where we wanna climb.

Austin and Matt are busy planning the routes they wanna climb on our way while Lisa tells me all about her climbing experience so far. Basically none.

"Matt explained to me that Austin and him can lead climb easy routes and then we can top rope." She explains to me.

I nod my head. "As long as Austin doesn't free solo up the wall like he did when we went climbing the last time."
