"I fell asleep. Sorry!" Austin exclaims, waking me up.
"What?" I ask sleepily.
"Sorry. Are you okay? I just fell asleep. I was tired." He says.
"Yeah. I'm fine. Let's go back to sleep." I suggest.
"I'm still in my jeans!" He complains.
I groan. It's the middle of the night. "Just take them off and let me sleep." I say annoyed and turn away from him.
I'm fucking tired. I never get enough sleep and now he's robbing me of the little bit of sleep I do get.
I hear him stand up and pull off his pants and lie back down next to me.
"Sorry for waking you up." He whispers just as I'm about to fall back asleep.
"It's fine. Goodnight." I say.
"Hey!" He whispers again.
I roll my eyes and sit up. "What is it?"
"Was it okay that I sleep here?" He asks.
"Yeah. You don't wanna drive home now, do you?" I ask him.
He shakes his head. "We didn't brush our teeth." He points out.
"You didn't. I did right after therapy when I changed into my sleep clothes." I tell him. "Just brush them in the morning." I suggest.
"Ugh. I hate this feeling." He says as he lies back down next to me.
He's almost as annoying as Kevin.
I also lie back down and Austin wraps his arms around me, pulling me closer so my back is against his chest.
I take it back. He's not annoying.
"Goodnight." He whispers and kisses the back of my neck.
Cuddling with Austin is great. It gives me a sense of safety.
I feel good when I fall asleep again.

At four I wake up and can't fall back asleep so I instead read a manga I started a while ago.
"Morning." Austin croaks out as his alarm goes off at half past 6. He sits up. "You're already awake?"
"Huh? Yeah, I was just reading, hang on." I say and finish reading the page and then lock my phone and lay it aside. "Good morning."
He frowns. "Did you not have a good sleep?" He asks.
"I slept like a stone apart from when you woke me up. I just woke up early." I explain.
"I woke you up?" He asks confused.
"Yeah. You complained about your pants and not brushing teeth." I tell him.
He looks down to his legs. "And I already wondered when I removed them."
"I should take a shower." I say and stand up.
"Wait. Are you mad at me?" He asks and grabs my wrist.
"What? Why do you think that?" I ask him.
He shrugs. "You seem angry."
"I'm not. Just dirty because I didn't shower last night." I explain and grab fresh clothes and leave my room.
It's weird to have Austin back in my bed with me. It's really great, but also confusing. It feels like we were never broken up and at the same time it feels like we were apart for a year.
