"I just wanna sleep." Austin informs me as he sits down in the passenger seat. I used Austin's keys to get into the flat and then grabbed the car key and drove here to come to pick him up from the hospital.

"I know. You can sleep once we're home." I say.

"I wanna sleep now. You can carry me upstairs to my bed." He suggests.

"I think I might be a tad too weak to carry you all the way up the stairs." I point out. "I'm sorry. I will get stronger for you, alright?"

He nods sleepily. "Yeah, it's okay. I'll just sleep here tonight."

I chuckle and start driving while Austin is out cold the second we stop talking. Whatever they gave him to treat his allergic reaction made him very sleepy.

After arriving home and waking Austin, he manages to drag himself up the stairs, but not without complaining about feeling tired every five seconds.

"Oh my fucking god. What happened? Did you cry?" Nora asks as soon as we get inside.

Austin instantly looks down so she can't look at his swollen face.

"He's allergic to seafood." I explain.

"Austin! I told you to do an allergy test like a year ago because I knew this would happen!" She exclaims.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I will do one." He says dismissively and goes to his room with a groan.

"Did he almost die?" Nina asks curiously.

"Well, no, but he had trouble breathing. So actually yeah, kinda." I explain.

"Better make sure he has an epipen on him. Those reactions can get more severe every time." She suggests.

I nod my head and then also go to Austin's room.

"Sorry, I will brush my teeth later. I'm too tired." He explains. I hope he doesn't smell like seafood anymore.

"I know." I say and help him out of his jeans and shirt while he lays on his bed like a dead fish.

As I move his legs over so I also have some space, he farts, right in my face. Great.

He looks at me wide eyed. "Oh my god. I'm sorry. I'm just so bloated."

"Yeah, don't worry." I say.

He hides his face behind his hands. "So embarrassing."

I raise one eyebrow. Is he usually holding back his farts? He has no trouble telling me about having to fart or getting diarrhea after eating certain foods, but that's where he draws the line? Now thinking about it, he usually doesn't fart next to me. At least not when he's awake.

"You do know that the second you fall asleep you fart like crazy, right?" I say to him. Not to mess with him, but because it's the truth.

He gasps. "What?"

"Yeah, that's how I can tell you're asleep. You instantly let out all your gas." I say while I snicker. Not always, sometimes.

"I do not!" He exclaims.

"Yeah, you do. Like a fart machine." I tell him.

"Go ahead. Let me die." He says dramatically and turns around to bury his face in the blanket.

"That would probably also get a big fart out of you." I joke.

"Stop! I'm always holding back my farts no matter how bad my stomach hurts until I excuse myself and let it all out in the toilet and now you're telling me I fart non stop when I sleep?" He asks.
