After eating breakfast I sit down on my bed while Austin is searching for snacks downstairs.

Caleb comes in, closing the door behind him, wearing a serious expression.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Austin told me what happened last night." He says.

Stupid Austin. I thought that would stay between us two.

"He said he found you passed out on the floor again." He says and sits down next to me.

I sigh. "I'm sorry. I know I swore I'd never do that again, but it just happened and it was the last time." I say. Caleb doesn't seem convinced. "It was just once and it wasn't like I was really in danger. I regret doing it and I'm slowly coming down from the high and I will never ever again inject any drugs. Okay? I swear."

He raises one eyebrow as he looks at me. "I- Sammy, he just told me you fainted and nothing more."

I look at him wide eyed. I'm so stupid.

He grabs my arm and pushes my sleeve up. Yep, I accidentally moved the needle around a little when I leaned to the side and I have a dark bruise.

He closes his eyes for a moment, inhaling and then exhaling slowly.

"I was nervous cause I was alone and I still had one shot at home and I didn't even think straight." I try to convince him.

"You injected that and then passed out?" He asks shocked.

"No, I passed out later when I tried to stand up." I explain.

"Why did you lie? I asked if you still have drugs at home. We had a moment. How could you lie in my face?" He asks me angrily.

"I'm sorry. But this time I swear it was the last time." I urge. "Seriously."

He looks doubtful.

I sigh and lie down on my stomach with my face down. "Please don't get mad again." I beg him.

I hear Austin coming in. "I hope your parents don't mind me eating the- oh hey Caleb." He says.

"Why do you keep to yourself that he fucking injected meth?" Caleb asks Austin.

"I could ask you the same thing." He throws back at Caleb. "When were you gonna tell me that Sammy did that?"

I can imagine how they're glaring at each other again. I let out a loud sign. "You are all always lying because I'm good at manipulating you to keep it secret. Get mad at me, but please don't fight again when you both have the same opinion."

"Are you high again?" Caleb asks me.

I shake my head. "Still. A little." I explain.

Austin sits down next to us on the bed, slapping my ass as he does so.

"Should we tell your parents?" He asks.

I quickly sit up. "No! Please don't!" I beg him.

They exchange looks, like they're still considering it.

"If they find out, they'll send me to rehab and finishing school this year is out of the question." I say. "I can't miss another month of school work. Apart from that it only got worse the last time." I bring up.

"Manipulation at it's finest." Caleb says as he crosses his arms over his chest.

"Indeed. You are good at it." Austin comments.

I groan. "Please. Just please don't do this. I swear if this ever happens again I'll go straight to them and tell them, but please give me a last chance." I beg them.
