Chapter 175: Answers

It's been a while since I last updated. Sorry, life was a struggle, but here I an back with another chapter.

"Come on up. You know which door, right?" Austin says and unlocks the downstairs door for whoever rang the doorbell.

He turns to me with an amused expression. "So, I think Nora is gonna stop crying now."

"Why?" I wanna know.

"That just now was her girlfriend." Austin explains.

"Nina?" I exclaim.

"Yup." He answers.

"Did you know she'd show up here?" I ask him surprised.

He nods his head. "Dude, she's gonna be so surprised." He tells me with a smile.

I just frown confused and a minute later Austin waves to someone walking down the hallway. He quickly hurries over.

I lean through the door and watch Austin and Nina hug after ten seconds of both of them hesitating awkwardly, not sure if it's appropriate to hug. She has a suitcase. And a cat in a crate. Oh.

Is she moving in? If so, I also wanna move in. If Nora can have someone living here permanently, so can Austin. But Austin never asked me, on the other hand Nora has no clue. Maybe I should ask Nora if it's okay and also grab my bags and just show up here.

Oh my god. If I was Nora, I'd be fucking mad. Nina ignored her, leaving Nora under the impression something is wrong and now she comes here with a cat?

I quickly walk into Nora's room while Austin and Nina are busy chatting.

"Get up." I say and pull the blanket from her. She's curled up with Potato. He's by her stomach, feeding off her warmth.

"Fuck off." She curses angrily.

She really has no clue.

I turn off the music and as I turn around she looks at me with basically demon eyes. Really frucking angry.

"Here." I say and give her a tissue. "Get ready."

"Fuck off. I wanna die." Nora exclaims and attempts to grab the blanket again.

"Nora. Look. You gotta look decent. Imagine the love of your life showing up here." I say.

That makes her look close to tears again. "The love of my life is ten hours away and is freaking ignoring me."

"Nora! Get up!" I demand and grab her arms. "Brush your hair. Come on."

"What's up with you?" Nora asks angrily as I grab her hair brush from the floor and try to open what used to be a bun on her head.

She yells in pain and pushes me away as my fingers get caught in her tangled hair.

"Not good. You kinda ignored her a little and it sent her into a breakdown basically." I can hear Austin's voice, followed by the sound of someone walking into the flat.

Potato jumps off the bed and runs out of the room curiously. And that's what makes Nora finally get out of bed.

"Close the door!" She yells and hurries out of her room. Then there's a sound of someone slipping and falling on the floor.

And then I can hear Austin laugh loudly.

I hesitantly peek out of Nora's room and see her sitting on the floor, Nina kneeling next to her, both of them hugging.

"Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry." Nina blurts out. "I had no signal. I should have texted you more. But I wanted to surprise you. I didn't know you thought you did something wrong."
