I'm starting my new work tomorrow which means I might not update as often anymore, but I'll try to keep up the updating schedule.
_____
The weekend is over fast. Saturday I spend the whole afternoon with Caleb, gaming on our old playstation. Sunday I sit down and finish all my schoolwork, which takes me all day. Austin is over and does the same thing, well, he copies most of the work I do.
Right now my alarm just woke me up and I'm staring at the window. It's snowing outside so my mom will drive me to school, pick me up afterwards and bring me to the hospital to have my stitches taken out and afterwards drive me to my therapy session.
I can't wait. The cut is fucking itchy.
"I heard your alarm go off! Get up or we'll be late!" My mom shouts after five minutes of me just lying around.
I groan and stand up and get ready for school.
I haven't been to school for exactly one month. I haven't spoken to most of my classmates and I know there is a lot of gossip and trash talk.
I walk downstairs and grab a bowl of cereal and then we leave.
"I'm not ready to go back to school." I tell my mom as we sit in the car, waiting for the traffic lights to turn green.
She smiles. "No excuses. You've already missed more than enough."
I roll my eyes. "I don't wanna."
She sighs. "I also don't want to go to work. But we have to."
I groan. "I just hope the others are already at school. Why did we have to leave so early?" I ask my mom.
"Because I have to be at work in ten minutes. You can get settled in while you're there earlier." She suggests.

I put in my earphones and pull up my hood as I walk into the school. I still have half an hour until the first lesson starts.
I walk to the classroom without running into anyone I know. I enter the empty room and put all my stuff down on the ground and sit down on my chair.
I mind my own business, listening to Black Sabbath, scrolling through Reddit.
"Sammy!" I hear a high pitched scream.
I pull out my earphones and turn my head over in time to spot Lisa and instantly get crushed in a hug.
"Oh my god. I haven't seen you in ages!" Lisa shouts in my ear as she hugs me tightly.
"Yeah. Last yeah, shocking." I joke.
She chuckles as she leans back and sits down on Carla's chair. "What happened? You were gone for so long and no one told me what happened. Carla and Harry just told me you're in drug rehab. They said you'd only come back next week." She says.
I smile. "Yeah. I was allowed to come back earlier than expected." I tell her.
"Oh. That's fantastic." She says happily. "What about Austin. How's he? Matt just told me he's getting treated for depression. But he's also back, right?" She asks excitedly.
"Uhm, yeah. He's doing okay I guess." I answer her.
"You guess? Are you not together anymore?" She asks me shocked.
"We are still together. Don't worry." I tell her. "I just don't wanna talk about him. If you wanna know how he's doing you can ask him yourself." I suggest.
She gasps. "Uhm. Yeah, sorry for asking." She frowns.
"Sorry. That came out wrong." I say and sigh. "I'm just not in the greatest mood."
