Nora took the blue oxys. The ones that she just had because I told Dylan to give them to her.

I stare at them a bit longer. She took three of them. Did she know those aren't real oxys? Did Dylan tell her they're not? He said there is fentanyl inside most likely and that they're sometimes stronger.

"You know what to do, right?" Adam asks me, breaking me out of my thoughts.

"What?" I ask him.

"Yes, she's in a stable position and not throwing up." Adam says on the phone.

"Do you know what this is?" He asks me, grabbing the ziplock bag.

"Some type of opiate." I answer. "Some homemade mix, pressed into a pill. That's what Dylan told me."

Adam looks at me with his eyebrows drawn together.

"It's- they look like oxys, but they're not and most likely stronger." I explain. "I don't know what it is. He just said that they are never the same and that makes them dangerous."

Adam nods and repeats what I just said on the phone.

"Can you check her pupils?" Adam asks.

I nod and do as told, pulling her eyelids slightly open.

"Really small? Shouldn't they be dilated from drugs?" I ask confused.

"Yes, some opioid." I can hear Adam say to the person on the phone.

This is my fault. It was my idea. I wanted to help Dylan, but ignored the fact that Nora isn't as responsible as she always acts.

I look around the room to find more clues what happened. How did she take them? That's also an important factor for the treatment. As far as I know it can be taken in any way. Swallowed, snorted, smoked, injected.

I see no syringes or similar, no foil, no pipe, nothing to turn it to powder. She most likely swallowed them. I don't know if that makes it better or worse. I think better.

"How do you know all that, Sammy?" Austin asks me as he appears next to me.

I glance at him and see him staring at me with his eyebrows drawn together. He crouches down to Nora, his eyes still on me.

"I'm sorry, Austin. If I had known, I would have never- I- I'm sorry." I stutter.

"Why are you sorry? Are those pills yours?" He asks me accusingly.

"N-No." I blurt out.

"Then whose are they? How do you know so much about random pills, huh?" He yells angrily.

"Dylan." I answer hesitantly.

"He gave them to her?" Austin asks in a loud voice.

"Hey, calm the fuck down!" Adam says harshly, holding the microphone of his phone closed with his hand.

"How should I stay calm?" Austin shouts and then turns back to Nora. I can hear him sniffle as he brushes her hair out of her face.

"Austin. Does she have naloxone at home?" Adam asks.

"What?" Austin asks angrily.

"Naloxone. It helps. Does she have a pack home?" Adam asks.

Austin shakes his head. "I don't know. I have no idea." He says desperately. "How much longer do we have to wait for the ambulance?"

I pat his back. "Hey, it's gonna be-"

He pushes my hand away. "Don't fucking touch me!" He snarls angrily.
