Alexia
....Twelve multiplied by six divided by thirteen equals?
Groaning mentally at my pathetic self, I looked at Aarvin who was tapping away on his phone.
"Do you want to join me on the floor?" I asked hopefully, patting the space beside me.
"No. I'm fine"
I huffed irritatedly at his reply. My phone has zero reception and I am bored out of my mind as I sat there crosslegged on the elevator floor doing weird calculations in my head.
I'm that bored!.
It has been only minutes since the elevator stopped.
And my companion is worse than a stone. If it was a stone instead of him, I could have atleast spent my time playing with it. But here I am, sitting on the floor enjoying the beauty of a closed elevator door. How the hell do he have signal in his phone to still work?
My mouth was starting to hurt because of staying shut for this much time. I really want to chat with him or anyone, but I don't want to interrupt him when he is this busy.
Two more minutes passed and I'm still sitting here. I very badly want to cry, scream or pull my hair at this pin drop silence suffocating me.
The only relief is that the emergency light is turned on, so I won't be left alone in dark.
I looked at Aarvin to see him still typing on his phone.
When a strong desire to know to whom he was chatting furiously, I stood up from the floor and edged closer to him.
I peeked into his screen not so sneakily, to see him..... Tapping the tiles?!
"You're playing game?" I asked blinking my eyes, unable to process that he was entertaining himself playing games while I was seconds away from going crazy.
"It's not like I have network reception to do anything else" He shrugged nonchalantly continuing his game
Pursing my lips into a tight line, I stood there watching him tapping the black tiles among the white ones to win the game.
If you are thinking why ain't I playing anything on my phone, then the answer is simple. My phone battery is very low and I don't want to stand in a elevator beside him with a dead phone.
Emergency precautions.
"Gimme" Snatching the phone from his hands, I sat down back to my former position on the floor.
"What are you doing?"
"Can't you see? I'm so fucking bored and y- Hey!" I pouted childishly when he snatched it away from me.
"It's my phone" He deadpanned
"But I'm bored..." I whined giving him my best puppy eyes which doesn't work with my friends. But I can hope right?
"What are you doing?" He asked turning his face away from me with an irked expression, but I didn't miss the small twitch of his lips.
"I want to play.." I sulked even more, acting like a spoiled six year old.
"Fine"
Huffing, he gave me his phone with an irritated face.
My face instantly lit up like a Christmas tree and I immersed myself in his phone for the next few minutes.
"Want to sit?" I asked gesturing to the space near me not taking my eyes off the phone.
Silence followed my question. Just as I was about to look at him, I heard a sigh followed by some rustling.
