"Gracias a Dios, what are you doing here?" I heard someone speak as I saw a pair of shoes in front of me. I looked up and saw Carlos with worry in his eyes. "When you didn't came back I went looking for you."
"I just needed some air." I just smiled as I saw him sit beside me in front of the restaurant that we had dinner in.
"Do you want to go somewhere fun?" He said at me smiling.
"I'm tipsy but not too drunk to sleep with you Carlos." I looked at him straight through his eyes and his smile dropped. "I'm just messing with you." I looked at him and laughed as he breathed out a sigh of relief. "The only fun that I want right now is speed."
"That's the fun that I am referring to." He smiled at me as he stood up and stretched out his arms at me. "Come on. I'll just call Charles that we're walking somewhere because you needed some air."
I Just looked at him because im really too tired to argue so took his hand and stood up. I can still feel the lightheadedness as I took a step but failed.
"Oh God." I said as I felt his arm wrapped around me as he caught me before I finally lose my balance. I looked up and gasped as my freaking face is just centimeters away from his. Our warm breath literally just mixing on the space between us.
His brown lovely eyes staring into mine, his long full lashes that compliments his very expressive eyes. Oh that brown eyes that I could get lost into.
I felt him move as his lips graze on mine that made me snap into the reality. I can't. I must not fall in love again with a driver. I gently pushed myself away from his hold.
"Sorry." We both mumbled at the same time. I looked at him and boy he is already looking at me, and there I laughed, I don't even know why I just laughed, maybe I'm so nervous that I don't even know what else to do but just laugh. And he did too.
I can feel getting sobered up as we just stood there laughing with each other on the middle of the pavements.
"Come on, you'll show me something fun. Right?" I snaked my hand on his arm, a precaution for the future nausea or maybe I just want to feel him, as we walked towards his car. "Where will you take me though?"
"It's just a secret." He grinned as he opened the car door for me. He went to the driver's seat and gave me his handkerchief. "It's a surprise so, I have to do this." He blindfolded me and giggled as soon as I felt him sit back down,
"Just don't do something bad to me." I stated as soon as he drove away. He just laughed at me. "Don't laugh, and just don't, or else Marck and Jacque will come after you." He laughed even harder.
His cellphone began ringing as he sighed and he quickly answered it.
"Mate! Where are the both of you?" Charles whispered on the other line. I chuckled as he put it on speakerphone.
"Anne just needed some air to sober up, do you want to let her wander the streets alone?" Carlos even emphasized the word alone.
"No, just take care of her, okay? I'll just let Esteban drive Marck's car to take Janelle back to their hotel." He sighed as I know he is not only worried for me but also, Marck has a very low tolerance with alcohol so maybe that half bottle of wine stirred something up. But I'm kind of happy because Esteban will finally get to talk with Janelle alone.
"Sure thing mate." Carlos said casually like he is not even interested, I can feel his car stopped, as my heart raced a bit.
"Is this the part where you'll push me out of the car and leave me behind Carlos?" I said and I heard him laugh as he opened the car.
