For months since we found out, Anne said we would keep it a secret until after the awards giving, She would always hide it with an oversized dress shirt, and she didn't tuck it anymore in her pants or sometimes she would wear coats just to hide it.
We will just tell our family during the ski trip in Courchevel since it is private and it's just both of our families, because we stayed in Maranello most of the time so we didn't have the time to tell our family.
As much as I wanted to share it with the world, I couldn't because, after Austin, some articles would twist and turn what really happened. Articles were saying that Anne was a gold digger, and it hurt me because, to be honest, she's richer than me. I wanted to fight back but I don't want to stress her because of our baby.
I sighed as I looked at our almost empty apartment. We are moving to Anne's as soon as Marck and Collette will go back to France. There were great memories here, all because of Anne. There were also bad because sometimes we would fight but before we went to sleep, we would make up. Always. Neither of us can sleep right if we can't reconcile.
"Don't worry Bud, if you want we could still have this apartment. We can stay here in case they decide to come back here in Monaco." Anne whispered as she slipped her hand around my waist.
"No, it's okay. The baby needs to grow up in a spacious place, plus your house and Mame's are the places we grew up. I want the baby to experience what we had before." I muttered and that brought a smile to her face which I love.
"Now let's go. They'll be waiting at Nice," she said as I suddenly felt a lump in my throat.
"Are you sure it's safe for you to go there and ski with your brothers? You're already five months pregnant Bud." I sighed as we went down to the garage, I remembered that her brothers told us to ski but I declined since I'm not as experienced as them and Anne couldn't say no yet since they didn't know that she was pregnant after we arrived there since there are rented ski clothes already waiting for us.
"Bud, I'm not going to ski, I'll just hike with them, I'll ride the lift going down if we ever ddcide to go through with it." She said as I let out a sigh still not convinced about her safety. "If you want you could go with us."
"Just promise me that you will not put your life in danger," I muttered as we drove off. "I don't want anything bad to happen to you."
"I know and I'm not planning to put the baby's life on the line," she explained as I reached to her hand on her lap and squeezed lightly.
As we arrived at the airport, Marck's car was already there as we parked next to it. I still have this bugging feeling that I can't seem to brush off as we walk to the building and out the tarmac and see their plane already open.
As soon as we walked in and saw Mom, Arthur, and Lorenzo with their girlfriends, talking with Marck and Collette, as Anne held my hand in support when she took off her coat revealing her bump. This is actually the first time they'll see the baby bump and for the first time, I felt nervous.
"You're pregnant this whole time?" Arthur asked as soon as he saw Anne standing next to me. Everyone looked at us and gasped as Anne nodded her head. "That's why we never heard from you for months?" she nodded again.
"I'm sorry for keeping this from you, but we never really had the time to tell you since we are always in Maranello or traveling," I explained.
"It is not because we don't want you all to know but, we just want to make sure that the baby is safe before announcing it to all of you," Anne explained as soon as I looked at her after I explained. "We just found out after Austin GP. You know what happened before, I'm so..."
