I sighed as i went out of the Chiron as the valet took the car, in my dress and heels because i was just informed when i came home from Monte Carlo, that i will be meeting my mother's and aunt's best friend, Princess Stephanie.
I'm a sucker for the 40s-50s fashion, high waisted flared pants or skirts. Maybe thats why Charles always comments on that because i dont usually dress like a modern girl. I really like it like that because that's what my Mom always wear, and maybe thats why i learned to love that.
"Is there a Harman on the guest list?" I asked the staff on the door and he smiled as he asked someone to escort me in a VIP room.
I still feel my nerves shaking because I haven't even met my Mom's friend for years, and now suddenly that I'm in Monaco she wants to see me. I sighed before I finally went in the room and saw her sitting on the chair patiently waiting for me.
"Alexis?" She said as she looked up and a shiver ran down my spine. Thats my Mom's name. I turned and saw Princess Stephanie, i only saw her on pictures these past few years and ive met her once when i was still young when they got together when we went to the funeral of their father the former Prince of Monaco.
"Princess Stephanie." I curtsied but she just smiled and hugged me. "Im Anne, Alexis' daughter." I murmured as she hugged me tighter.
"You're really look like your mom. Now we will have to wait for Alaina, your aunt." My eyes widened, my aunt is here in Monaco? Oh God. Im trying my best to hide from her because she'll take me to fashion weeks, and will definitely give me gift after gifts of clothes and jewelries.
"Anne, you were just eight when i saw you and now look at you you're a woman now." Princess Stephanie compliments as she smiled and took my hand. "Your mom would be so proud of you, im really sorry for her passing." She squeezed my hand reassuringly as her eyes softened as she looked at me.
"Anne, Stephanie." I heard my Aunts voice and I just want the world to swallow me whole. She scares me, not only because she's an strong independent woman, but also a very intimidating one.
"Alaina." Princess Stephanie stood up from her seat as she hugged my auntie.
"Tante." I smiled as i stood up and hugged her. That's what i call her since i was young, Tante for auntie.
She looked at me head to toe and i can feel her judging my style, she hates it because she always tells Mon to change her style but my mother is as stubborn as me.
I can feel my nerves tense as she talks to Princess Stephanie about her new venture. She basically bought two apartment buildings, and a clothing boutique which handles big brands here in Monaco.
"As my only son doesn't want to live here in Monaco and he's been living his life there in Singapore, everything will be taken care of Anne here." My aunt announced which made me shocked, stunned and unable to speak.
"Tante." I muttered as i saw Princess Stephanie's eyes glimmer with happiness.
"Don't tell me your Dad didn't say anything about this." She informed and i just looked at her in utter disbelief and confusion. "Mille-Harman Europe will be based here in Monaco. Everything from real property to automotive venture will belong there. Damon, your cousin is already in Singapore doing the same thing with Mille Harman Asia since 2020."
"I know that there's an ongoing negotiations for Mille-Harman Monaco here but i didnt know anything about Mille-Harman Europe." I stated as i looked at my aunt who's smile widens at the information i told her.
"Well thats it. The two will be hand in hand." My aunt replied as Princess Stephanie and her talked about how the process will be.
Mille-Harman Monaco will be for the business branch here and Mille Harman Europe is for the administrative part. I got lost in all of it as my thoughts about how my family didn't even tell me about this.
