Chapter 19: In denial

"Damn it she's not answering!" I said in an irritated tone.

"Calm down, she'll be fine" said ate Polla.

"How can I calm down ate, she's with Ate Faye and I don't trust that woman!" I keep on dialing her number but still no answer.

"Ay girl you should calm down, mukha namang hindi siya sasaktan ni Ate Faye e" Said kuya Jeff with his maarteng tone.

"I can't kuya.."

"It's ate!" Napairap ako sa sinabi ni Kuya Jeff

"Ate Faye is a lesbian. She might do something to her and worst—"

"Are you jealous?" Ate Louise cuts me off.

I swallowed really hard and trying not to meet her gaze.

"Do you like Gael?" Ate Polla asked.

"If you do, you better stop that" I frowned because of Kuya Jeff said.

"Bakit?" Tanong ko.

"Masasaktan ka lang" sabi ni ate Polla.

"I don't get it, baket?"

"Can't you see, she's straight and she really doesn't give a damn care sa mga taong nag kakagusto sakaniya" sabi ni ate Polla "And If I were you, don't you even dare to confess.. Kase iiwasan ka niya"

Ganun ba talaga? I'm straight din naman and about this jealousy thing.. Hindi ko din alam bakit nag kakaganto ako, I want her all to myself but I don't wanna be so selfish.

I don't know if I like her na or nah, but I can feel something inside of me that really isn't right. I'm scared to lose her pero ayoko siyang makita sa iba. Parang may something na masakit when I saw her hugged that woman in front of us.

"Myghad so you really like her?" Ate Polla asked with her shocked reaction.

"I-I don't" umiwas ako ng tingin.

"Ung totoo?" Pinaikutan nila ako.

"H-Hindi ko nga" nauutal kong sabi.

"Gael"

"Where?"

"Hule! You don't have to deny it" napasimangot ako.

I can't believe that I fell for that. "Hindi ko nga" sabi ko.

"Alright sweetie, deny it" pangisi ngising sabi ni Ate Louise.

"Sumagot na ba?" I looked at Kuya Jeff.

"Nope pero hindi ko na siya macontact" bagsak balikat ko after I heard that.

We don't know where she is, kung hindi lang sana siya sinigawan at pinag bintangan ni Ate this wouldn't have happened.
