You sat on the couch lazily with your phone while you waited for your boyfriend to pick you up from your house since you both walked to school every morning together with Takao.
Looking at the time, you realized that Midorima was taking longer than usual.
'That's weird, he's usually here early...' You thought as you decided to wait 10 more minutes before you could walk to school by yourself.
10 minutes have passed and you decided to walk to school yourself. You were suspicious on why he didn't walk you to school but you guessed that he couldn't walk with you everyday.
When you got to school, some people took glances at you with an confused expression since they always saw you with the megane. Some people even asked if something happened. You just shrugged and walked to class. You were hoping that you'd see the shooting guard-point guard pair in class since you all had the same classes.
Upon entering class, you were wrong. The two seats that usually held the two males, were vacant. You sighed and walked over to your desk and set your bag down. You hadn't noticed it, but you looked down on your desk you saw a small white notecard with a vibrant and freshly cut red rose attached to it. You opened the notecard and recognized Midorima's handwriting.
You had to squint a bit since there were some scribbles on it. The most visible one is the sentence that said
'I hope you like this rose nanodayo.'
But when you looked below it, there was a sentence that wasn't scribbled over. It read,
'I just happened to hear your horoscope today and run into your lucky item nanodayo. It's not like I wanted to get you this!'
But on the bottom corner, another sentence was written in smaller handwriting, and it was Takao's.
'P.S.- the reason why Shin-chan didn't walk you to school was because he kept on looking for the perfect rose for you!'
You just giggled to yourself on Midorima's attempt on being romantic.
