A/N: hey guys! So here's a an Aomine Daiki oneshot. For my friends at school who know, I am VERY protective of this adorable idiot 😂 but since I love this idiot I attempted to make a oneshot. I hope you like it!
Everyone obviously knows that your boyfriend, Aomine Daiki, is the ace of the Tōō basketball team and a member of the Generation of Miracles. You, too, loved basketball. You and Aomine have been dating for 7 months now, but there was one thing that he did not know about you.
You were a a very talented basketball player. You had stopped playing 5 years ago.
However, you had stopped playing basketball because you had a serious bone injury in your wrist during a game. The incident left you in a cast for 3 months. But it wasn't life threatening or permanent. You eventually healed and had your cast removed, but you had decided to stop playing basketball because you didn't want anymore injuries that'll actually make it extremely serious the next time you get hurt.
When you were alone you would go to the basketball hoop in you backyard and shoot some hoops for old times sake. (A/N: if you don't have one then pretend lol)
The skill you thought you had lost was still there.
You dribbled the ball quickly in your hand, the leather smooth after being used and practiced with by time and time. You ran towards the basket with speed, with the ball dribbling against your hand. You stopped in place and made a two-pointer.
'My skills....it's still here...' You thought.
That day, you didn't expect Aomine to come over. But there he was, watching you play without a care.
"You got some skills, (name)." Aomine said with a smirk plastered on his face.
"Aomine?! Wait what are you doing here?!" You said, embarrassment in your voice.
"Watching you play." He said leaning against the doorframe, still with a smirk on his face.
You blushed.
Aomine grabbed the basketball that was on the floor and dribbled it.
"One on one." He said
You smirked.
"We both know who here is gonna win." You said walking towards him.
"Me." You both said and looked at each other for a brief moment with a slightly confused and surprised expression, but then you both smirked at each other.
"Challenge accepted.~" you said.
You both played basketball, none of you with a sign of backing down with genuine smiles.
A/N: I hope this was good! I apologize for only posting a oneshot like once of a month (╥﹏╥). I have schoolwork, I get lazy and I also have writers block ._. BUT I SWEAR I AM TRYING TO UPDATE MORE.
