You walked around Shutoku, looking for somewhere quiet, specifically, a music room.
You stumbled upon a music room, finally. It looked like every other music room you'd see. Sighing, you looked for a piano, which wasn't hard. There was big and shiny grand piano in the middle of the room. It took you a few moments to realize there was someone playing beautifully on the instrument. You walked closer.
"I know you're there, [L/N]." A certain green haired male said, the music stopping.
"Seems like you've caught me." You said, sitting down next to him at the bench. You looked down at the shining keys.
"What do you want." He asked, more like stated.
"Nothing, I just needed to be somewhere quiet." Midorima didn't answer back.
"You play very well." You complimented.
"Thank you nanodayo." Midorima said as he saw you eying the piano longingly, as if there was a hidden meaning to it. It turns out, there was a meaning. You were from the [L/N] family, known for it's many many piano prodigies, 95% of them playing at a national and professional level when they were as young as 3 years old. You were 16 years old, yet you did not know how to play, even though you tried. There was just something missing in the way you attempted to play. You needed some type of meaning to play. You needed to play for something, or rather, someone.
"Play me something nanodayo." Midorima said, breaking the silence.
"I can't." You said, thinking of yourself as a failure. Midorima simply did not say anything, he just kept looking at you. Seeing that he was fully capable of being a piano prodigy on top of being a basketball prodigy, you asked him a simple question.
"Can you teach me?" You asked shyly.
"Teach you what."
"To play piano."
Midorima hesitated for a while, but finally agreed. He got up and made you scoot to the center, then sitting right behind you, his arms and hands guiding yours. Midorima could have taught you while sitting by your side, but he wanted to hide his blushing face, not wanting you to see how he felt about teaching the person he liked.
