KarEena the Beginning of a Saga

2.

At HM house

HM is in a half sleep half awake condition. She has become v weak as she has not eaten properly for days. Neither has she slept. Her eyes are red and bulging out. Her skin is dry and lips are chapped. She does not have any strength in her body, she can barely walk or even stand properly.

KS is holding HM from side with HM arm on KS shoulder for support. KS keeps her hand firmly on HM waist, preventing her from falling. She rings the door bell with her free hand.

Pushpa ji opens the door and is instantly heart broken to see HM in such a condition. She immediately holds HM and both PS and KS make her sit on the sofa. PS gets a glass of water and hands it to HM, but HM does not respond.

PS to KS:  Karishma jee.. Kya hua h MS ko.  Ye kch bol q nhi rhi.  Pani ka glass bhi nhi le rhi.. Behosh toh nhi ho gyi kahi..

KS: Hatiye zara, hume dekhne dijye.

Both PS and KS sit on the sofa on either side of HM.

KS gently taps on HM cheek to wake her up while PS is lovingly caressing HM hair and forehead.

KS : MS uthiye.. Kaa hua aapko .  Uthiye.. Pani pee lijye.

HM gasps for breath and v slowly and weekly opens her eyes.

PS makes her drink some water and wipes her face with her dupatta.

KS turns her face away as a few drop of tears escape her eyes. She gets up from the sofa and walks away to another room.

PS settles HM comfortably on the sofa and then comes to KS, walking  from behind and puts her hand on KS shoulder. KS tries to hide her tears but fails.

PS: Karishma.. ! Hum jante hai aapko kitni taklif ho rhi h MS ko is haal me dekh kar.

KS breaks down and hugs PS .. All the tears that KS has been holding back starts shedding off now. PS caresses her head with love and lets KS cry on her shoulder.

KS while sobbing

KS : Amma, hum ka kare bataye   ka kare hum aisa jis se MS ki sari taklife hum lele.. Unke Sare dukh dur ho jaye .. Hum unko is haal me nhi de skte h amma.
Unko itti si bhi talkilf hoti ha na toh hum seh nhi pate h.. Aur dekhye aaj unka ka haal h.. Aur hum kch nhi kar pa rhe .. Hum itne bebas ho gye h amma .. Hum apni MS k lie kch nhi kar pa rahe..

PS: Unhe wakt dijye.. Wakt Sare zakhm bhar dega.. Unhone apni maa ko khoya hai.. Aur ye koi mamuli zakhm toh nahi..

KS gets a hold of herself and breaks the hug and looks at PS.

KS: Jee amma.. Hum samjh rhe h aapki baat ko.. Hum kitne khusnaseeb hai jo aap humare saath hain.. Hum kabhi soch bhi nhi sakte ki agr aap humse dur hogyi toh hum kaise jiyege.

With that KS starts crying again

PS: arey beta ye toh zindagi ka kanoon h. Ye toh niyati h jise hum badal nhi skte.. Lekin aise mushkil samay me hum mazboot rehna parta hai.. taki hum humare aapno ka sahara ban sake.  Aapko bhi mazboot rehna h MS k lie.. Aapko unhe apna pura samay dena hai aur sabr se kaam lena hai. Samajh rahi hain aap.?

KS: Jee amma.. Hum samjh gaye.. Ab hum nhi royenge.. Hum MS ki kamzori nahi balke unki dhaal banege.. Har haal me unka saath denge unke saath khare rahenge ..

PS: Ye hui na baat.. Ab lag rha h na ki aap Pushpa Singh ki bahurani hai ..

With that they both hug.

PS: Chal ye ab jaldi se hume ghar lekar chalye.. Hume MS  k lie khana banana h..

KS: par MS ko is haal me av akela kaise chor den..??

PS: kya lagta h aapko? sirf apko hi fikar h MS ki.. ?
Hamne Santu aur Billu ko bulaya h.. Wo av aate hi honge. Santu yaha MS ke sath rukege kch der aur billu bahar pehra dega.. Aur Cheeteh ko humne keh dia hai thana sambhalne k lie.

KS: thik h.. Chal ye..

They leave the police van outside HM house and ride on KS bike to Singh house after Santu and Billu arrive.
