Chapter Eighty one

Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months all passed by so fast and Amal has got a big 6 months old baby bump which looks like an 8 months baby bump.
All thanks to Daddy for agreeing with Farhan's surprise to Amal and why not? Daddy must agree with Farhan to take his wife with him to United States for the 6 months course he's gonna undergo.
On a faithful evening, daddy broke the big surprise to mummy, Laila and Amal who were all in the kitchen preparing dinner. On hearing that, Laila jumped up and hugged Amal and then said "this baby bump is stopping me from hugging you properly". She smirked. The two girls and their mum hugged each other while daddy smiled.
"Start packing your things, you have two days to leave as your husband said". Daddy said while he leaves the kitchen.
Deep down, mummy wants Amal to deliver here in Nigeria under her elders supervision but on the other hand she knows that there are good medical teams there in USA but she wants her to be taken care of how it is done by parents and elders. Mummy sighed and surrendered everything to Allah.

Amaani was told by Amal about the surprising news and Amaani happily said "being a pilots wife with three bars on the shoulders, you can travel round the world, go girl!".

Amal called Farhan happily and they talked for a long time on call before they switched to video call.

Amaani and Ahmad continued to live happily and their bond strengthens and with each day passing, they both always thank Allah for each other.
Life continued to move on smoothly for the couple with each other's support, love, care, affection and attention. Ahmad got promoted and life was smooth for the two of them, Amaani became so busy with her new boutique and baby shop business she has started running with the greatest support of her dearest husband and on the other side too, Ahmad has gotten so busy with work.
The couple continued to pray for a blessed and beautiful baby and left the result to the almighty because He's the all hearer, He hears the yearning of our souls.

One weekend evening, Amaani woke up in the morning and quickly checked the time on the bedside table, she was surprised on seeing how late it was and quickly jumped from the bed after saying her waking duas and then started murmuring and questioning herself why she sleeps too much these days. She looked through the mirror and loved how she was glowing and looking all plumpy and puffy. Amaani started feeling dizzy so she sat on the couch in the bedroom while she says some prayers for herself, she started to feel a tingling sensation in her neck and then nausea, she felt the urge to throw up, so she quickly ran to the bathroom and began to retch and with a sudden retch, she vomited all over the sink.

Ahmad ran into the bedroom on hearing his wife retch from the other room, he entered straight to the bathroom and found her lazily seated on the floor and with no strength.

"Amaani, Amaani, Amaaaa" he stammered.

Amaani with eyes closed and with no strength answered "Yes Ahmad, don't panic, I'm fine now and please there's no need to go to the hospital".

"No Amaani it can't be, we are going to the hospital, I won't listen to your sweet talks". Said Ahmad while he picks her up from the floor.

"Ahmad you're doing as if I'm not feeling well, I just felt dizzy on waking up because I woke up so quick without calming down". Amaani explained.

"Ahmad please call Dr. Amin (Amaani's family doctor), I'm sure he will tell you that it's okay to feel that way". Said Amaani.

Without hesitation, Amaani gave Dr. Amin's number to Ahmad and in two rings, Dr. Amin picked the call and Ahmad introduced himself to doctor and they greeted each other once more. Ahmad explained everything that has happened to Amaani to doctor and the doctor confirmed that there is nothing to worry about and after Amaani has talked and explained everything to him by herself, he assured them that they shouldn't worry about it but all they need is to buy a pregnancy test stick at home. Ahmad and the doctor said goodbye before they hang up.
