Alhaji Sadik showed up and moved aside with the doctor, not knowing what the doctor told Alhaji Sadik, Alhaji Sadik was shocked and repeated God's name in praise form.

The doctor comforted Ahmad's Dad and respectfully said "Sir, well we've tried so hard even though we've saved his life in the end but your son needs rest and will be taking to the ICU because of the critical condition he's in. He has lost lots of blood and has so much more complications. The surgery he underwent was very invasive and the patient is at high risk of complications so he needs to be under trained professional doctors. He's unable to breath but is under the help of the mechanical medical ventilator. He's in an unconscious state at the moment but he's under good care and we pray he comes out alive and healthy".

Ahmad's Dad sighed and said "Okay then we pray so, thank you very much".

"You're welcome sir, but please try cooling his wife and other family members down because of the state they are in". The doctor said and left.

Ahmad's Dad returned to where the family members are and immediately he returned, all eyes were on him waiting to hear what the doctor had said.

Ahmad's Dad smiled on seeing their facial expressions and his smile made them feel okay. Amaani was still puzzled and in her mind she said "Baba is trying to show us that nothing is wrong but there's something wrong, this is a forced smile on his face".

Baba explained everything the doctor told him and another session of cries began.

"It's okay and now, every one should start getting ready to go home and rest, Maryam take Amaani home too". Abbu said them and Ummu.

They started getting ready to leave but only Ahmad's Dad and Mum, Abbu, Ayman and one of Ahmad's uncle were left.

Amaani cried while she saw Ahmad being moved to the Intensive care unit.

"Ahmad don't leave me". Was all Amaani said while her hand is been held by Ummu and the other by Amal and out of the hospital they went.

Amaani cried and got tired of crying on their way home.

Laila, Khalifa and their other cousins drove home.

They were all at home and Amaani was taken to Ummu's room, Ummu suggested that she takes her bath, change into something light and eat before she takes paracetamol and Amaani did so. Ummu and other elderly women told her to have tawakkul and know that whatever happens is under the almighty's control.
Amaani being a girl that obeys her elders and listens to whatever they tell her, she agreed and was okay by what they said. After taking the medicine, she relaxed and continued praying for her husband's quick recovery.

The next day, the guests started packing excluding granny and Laila, Yaya Nasreen, Yaya Hawy and Khalifa along with Khalifa's Mum.

Amaani didn't go to the hospital but Abbu and Ummu along with Khalifa and Amaan went in the morning and returned in the noon because staying there isn't necessary because they are not able to see the patient.
But the doctor told them that there are lots of improvement in the patient's health.

They returned home happily and broke the news to everyone.

Amaani got tired of receiving calls and messages but she replied and answered them one after the other.

Amaani got a call from an unknown number and she picked it, she heard a voice that she isn't familiar with but hearing that it's her co female, she continued answering kindly, the person shared her sympathy with Amaani about what happened to Ahmad, Amaani answered kindly and thanked the woman but before they hang up, Amaani asked who the woman is and the woman said... "Amaani I never want to tell you who it is because of what happened between us in the past, I'm regretting what I did to you because you're so innocent, I'm sorry once more before I tell you who it is, I didn't sleep properly last night because I was feeling the pain for you, it seems unbearable. Amaani I'm sorry for what happened to your husband, I wish him a speedy recovery and may Allah give you the strength to bear this pain".
