Chapter Sixty Six

Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months all passed and sure, everything that has a fixed date will be witnessed. Ihsan's wedding is in the next day, family friends and relatives from different places all filled the house, the aromatic smell of foods and the loud voices of people too heard from the angles of the house. Some people came to see the 24 set of boxes brought to Ihsan by the groom's family.
The bride's home was well furnished and beautiful looking so royal like a palace, indeed Ihsan's house defines royalty, class and serenity and it looks just exactly how she always dreams of her house to look like. After seeing the picture of the well decorated house, Ihsan thanked her parents whole heartedly and she hugged each of them.
Ihsan received hell lotta compliments from people about her look which made her appreciate the chadian woman even more. The bride's hands and legs were beautifully adorned by a woman from maiduguri and the black henna was done by a henna artist in Abuja who also came home for a home service too along with the hairdresser. Ihsan looked more of a bride after the henna decoration because everyone complimented on her looks and henna. Maama was so proud of her daughter and was beyond happy because she's marrying off her daughter to a noble man who changed her daughter's life for good and also she's happy that Ihsan is getting married to the love of her life and her life saviour.

More of Ihsan's cousins came and were teasing her, one of them said "Ihsanu, tomorrow by now you would be a Mrs and later at night you'll be living under the same roof with a guy, ain't you afraid??" She teased.

Ihsan laughed hard and said "I'll be glad to be called Mrs Suhail and also living the same room with the love of my life will be one heck of a whole vibe, whole goal and whole mood because he will be my halal man inshaALLAH and everything halal hits  different". She winked.

All the girls in the room said "Awwwwwww" in Unison.

Ihsan laughed at them and said "crazy girls with sets of corrupted minds".

They laughed delightfully before they started another talk and the wedding preparations and also how they'll do things the next day.

Ihsan told her cousins that her friends are now coming back to her one after the other and wants to be friends with her after hearing about who she's gonna marry and where she's gonna leave. Ihsan finished telling them and coincidentally, her Aunt overheard all that she said and she majestically entered the room and sat beside the bed to lecture Ihsan.

She sat opposite Ihsan and looked at her on the face and directly in the eyes, she started talking in a calm and soft tone.. "Ihsan stay away from those evil friends of yours, they ain't good people, they left you when you were in need of them and they didn't give you the best advice you deserved back then but they are tryna come back into your life just because they've heard that you are gonna get married soon and to a reputable family and a reputable person, they're tryna come back to you just because you've changed into someone good, Ihsan listen to me, they don't wanna come back into your life to change theirs too but rather, they're coming back to influence you and take you back to square one. Don't give them any chance to come back to you and I thank God for this low-key wedding because they might plot something evil in the grand wedding you wanted and also I thank Suhail for being the one that will take you to your matrimonial home himself. Last but not the least, never let them come to your house or know where it is located, infact I want their pics so that I'll show the gateman their pictures in order to stop them from visiting you".

Ihsan heard all that her Aunt said and it digested in her, so she hugged her Aunt warmly and said "Thank you dear Aunt".

"It's okay Ihsan, hope what I said is clear enough?" Her Aunt asked.

"It's very clear Aunt". Ihsan said.

Before Ihsan's Aunt left, she warned the other girls in the room to put eyes on Ihsan and other girls that will come to the wedding.
