Chapter Fourty Four

Ihsan's Mum was speechless, she looked from Ahmad to her husband and to Ihsan in bewilderment. Ahmad said goodbye to them once more before he turned to leave.

Papa was still sending the dead and fierce glare at Ihsan while Maama sat him down and bombarded him with questions, he told her to relax that he would narrate everything to her. Maama breathed in and out before Papa narrated everything he heard between Ihsan and Ahmad. With an increased heart rate, Maama sent evil and deadly look that made Ihsan bent down with trembling body. Maama sat down on the sofa next to papa and ihsan beside Maama on the floor, Papa with voice full of sadness and disappointment continued narrating what happened to Maama which gave her shock, she blowed up at Ihsan and. with an increased heart rate, clenched jaw, trembling body and a dry mouth vented her anger at Ihsan and from finalised it with a dirty hot smacks on her face.

Ihsan's face was swollen and her eyes were still not wet nor her face didn't show any regret.

Papa told Maama to relax and keep calm, "Ihsan you'll definitely see what will happen to you in this life since that's what you choose to be, you'll definitely reap what you sow and lemme remind you that if you continue to behave this way, you'll cry with your eyes one day and you'll go apologizing to whoever you have ever wronged and by then they won't turn to look at you. For your information, you ain't gonna marry Ahmad because I won't bare to see him suffer because of you because Ahmad is innocent and good and also remember that he told you this before I inform you and there's no one on this Earth that would ever convince me to make Ahmad marry except God who is the planner of planners". Papa rebuked angrily.

Ihsan has never been shocked since the start of this but she was shocked after hearing her father's words and she knew that whenever her father concludes something he never changes it and she thought her father would force Ahmad to marry her or shower him with money and so on but she remembered that her father is a very honest and decent man, he doesn't welcome such things because he is always honest and straightforward. At that time she started regretting her actions but it's too late.

Maama saw regret written all over Ihsan's face and she said to Ihsan "you'll regret more after I'm done with you!.

"Ihsan you've disappointed me, Ahmad, his family and your family in general and in addition you'll no more be respected in Amaani's eyes because you've lost your dignity in the eyes of all. Ihsan you have really disappointed me, beating you will not change anything, yelling at you will not change anything, the only thing that would change you now is prayers and stay away from those bad gangs and your bad characters because they would add nothing to your but only shame. If you choose not to change then you can still continue with your bad characters because we've tried our best in raising you, Allah will not hold us for that because he knows how we tried in raising you into a good girl. Hajiya Ramla is straightforward and she wants her child's happiness, so she can do anything to stop this marriage and she won't think twice but stop this marriage because Ahmad would surely tell her everything. Ihsan now you've lost a chance in life maybe it's your first and last chance as the saying goes "opportunity comes ones", you've lost your first love who is maybe your first and last. Ihsan I pity your life if you don't change because it'll lead to a great damage to you, you're a lady and all a lady wants is to maintain her dignity. May Allah fix you and all other girls like you out there, Ameen. We should wait for the outcome of the Sadiks because I know it's gonna be a great conclusion". Maama said.

Ihsan was out of words, she couldn't utter a word but looked from her Mom to Dad with eyes welled with tears full of disappointment, regret and sadness. For a long time of silence, Ihsan uttered an apology to her parents, she apologized with a heavy heart full of regret. As a mother, Maama pitied Ihsan because she felt the pain for her while Papa stood up quickly and left them there but before he left, he said..."look how kind this but is, look what he brought for you, ain't you ashamed to collect it? Well you have no shame, so I won't blame you if you accept it. Shameless brat!". Papa bellowed.
