El's pov

Finally it was time to go home. "Alright so, meet up at my house at around 4?" chloe asked as we were waiting for our parents to pick us up. Actually, Austin and chloe were going by bus

"yeah sure" I said. She nodded and smiled at me as I smiled back. Then they both headed to the bus before it leaves. Will and I sat on a bench waiting for Joyce to pick us up

"So how was your day?" will randomly asked breaking the silence. "oh um, good" I said. He looked at me seriously. "okay since I'm asking, you should tell me the truth, I can tell some thing's a bit off with you today" will said

Is he like a mind reader or something? "Um, chloe somehow found out that.. I like max" I said slowly as he waited patiently. His eyes slightly widened. "what? How-Did you tell her-" will asked

"I didn't tell her, I'm not dumb, I know you can't tell stuff like that to anyone, I know we've talked about it" I said. His face slightly softened. He got anxious for a second for some reason.

"oh okay sorry" he said. "she figured it out herself" I said. "During break time, remember when chloe and i went to the bathroom?" I said. He nodded. "I took off my hoodie because I was hot and chloe complimented the sweater I'm currently wearing underneath" I said

"She basically asked where I got it from etc, I just told her that I didn't know because max gave it to me, she immediately smirked which i found it weird and she straight up told me 'because it's obvious you like her'" I said. He was genuinely kind of shocked

"will? Are you alright" I asked. "Yeah I just wasn't expecting this" he said. "is she supportive?" he asked. "Yeah, i kind of panicked as she tried to calm me down by saying she's supportive etc" I said. He smiled

"fortunately she's supportive" he said. "I mean it is obvious" he said giggling. "Hey its not funny!" I playfully slapped his arms as he laughed more. "It's funny how quickly she figured it out, I mean can I blame her? The way you're talking about her" he said

"What's with the way I talk about her?! She once mentioned something like this before too" I said. "You describe like you're in love with her" he said. It's funny how honest he is

"which you are.." he said smirking as I slapped his arm again. He groaned dramatically. "I'm not in love with her, it's just.. A crush" I said blushing at the end

He stared at me in disbelief, more like mocking me with that look which i can't really describe. He laughed. I frowned. "That-is the biggest lie you've said" he said laughing slightly.

"What?!" I said frowning at him laughing. "Come on el, you're so in love with her and no one can tell me otherwise and so is she" he said

"She doesn't feel the same will,get over it. We've both seen it, she likes lucas and lucas likes her" I said. This weird, jealousy feeling returned back to me

He sighed loudly. "Why are you sighing for?" I asked. "Because you're so.. Clueless. You know damn well she likes you back but something inside you just denies it" he said

"Whatever, you're just making me feel delusional" I said. "I'm just speaking facts" he said. We didn't say anything else for some time. After half a minute he spoke.

"Wait-is that why you're gonna go over at her place after?" he asked. "yeah.. That's why I'm a little bit nervous, she said we can talk about it after at her place after she calmed me down" I said

He smiled. "She made it clear to you that she's supportive, so why are you freaking out? I mean-I know how you feel but still-" he said. "I just do will, I don't know will. I'm nervous when it comes to talking about my feelings" I said

"Yeah, I understand... Just so you know, you could open up to her only if you feel comfortable. Don't think that you must always tell someone your secrets just because, she may be your friend-" he said. "but I can't trust anyone easily I know will, that's why I didn't tell her in the first place even though we basically share mostly everything" I said. He nodded.

First of all, I'm so sorry I didn't update, I loose motivation for some reason😭 but I'm definitely continuing this book I just don't update daily sorry
