chapter 66: caught

Max's pov

el and i immediately pulled away when we heard footsteps. It was just will and mike coming back downstairs

they both frowned. "woah chill girls,it's just us" will softly said as we nodded. Then they both sat down again

i glanced at el and she did the same. We just stared at the boys trying to figure out what happened as they were gone

"soo? what happened? is everything okay?" i gave up and finally asked. "yeah" they both said in sync.

el's pov

i was happy everything was okay after all. "okay I'm just gonna cut to the point" max said. "did you kiss?" . Both of their faces turned slightly red which made me and max smirk

"i'll take this as a yes" max said. "yeah.." mike said exhaling nervously yet with a small smile on his face as he looked at will who smiled back. "we did" mike finished as we both cheered

max started hitting my shoulder in excitement,not hard she didn't hurt me. I giggled at her reaction and grabbed her hands to stop her from hitting me

"I'm so happy for you guys!" i said smiling. They both grinned and looked at each other. "so am i " mike said. We looked at him slightly confused. "i mean i'm happy for you guys also,you're so cute together, i'm sorry for how i reacted earlier.." mike said with a smile but then it faced as he looked guilty

"it's okay " both me and max said . "alright so should we continue playing monopoly?" will suggested after a few seconds of silence. We all nodded and did so

*time skip*

third person's pov

the four of them after playing monopoly and just chatting for a while, joyce called them to go eat dinner. Jonathan was also there

Joyce was curious and did ask them how come dustin and lucas weren't at the sleepover. Will kind of freaked out inside and just told them they  couldn't come and joyce nodded.

as they finished and the four of them stood up to leave joyce cut them off. "uh one question kids before you go to sleep" joyce asked. We were low key nervous for some reason but managed to hide it

"yes mom?" will asked casually. "when are you guys sleeping? i uh-i suppose mike at will's room and max at el's?" joyce asked genuinely curious. "oh um yeah,but we're not going to sleep yet,we're gonna watch a movie in the living room if that's okay" will said as we all nodded

"alright then just wanted to make sure,also yeah of course you can I'm not going to watch tv or something,im gonna go straight to bed because I'm tired from work" she said  as we nodded . Before going to the living room to watch the movie we went upstairs to get changned first

As we were walking up the stairs mike muttered to us in the hallway  "did she think i would sleep with max or something" mike whispered giggling as the three of us giggled

max faked gagged which made us laugh louder. "oh god why would you say that mickey mouse" max said disgusted. "mickey mouse?! What the hell!" mike exclaimed offended and shocked as will and i couldn't stop laughing

jonathan in the other room told us to be quiet so we immediately walked into will's room without thinking and kept laughing. "that was revenge michael" max smirked making me laugh as mike rolled his eyes. "okay cucky" mike teased as max gasped so loud i had to cover her mouth as the boys shushed her
