Mike's pov

"Okay um..since I uh-told you about what happened with Will-there's also something else.." I said looking down. They frowned. "Sure tell us" Lucas said

Will looked at me and I think he understood what I was about to say and nodded. "Will and I didn't only kiss once.." I admitted.

Lucas and Dustin smiled widely. The girls didn't because they knew what I was talking about. "That's great dude!! When?" Lucas said smiling

"It's actually not great..remember when El and I broke up?" I said as they nodded. "We did break up because I was an asshole who didn't write to her back when Will and El were in California but the main reason was because..I-I kissed Will.." I said looking down ashamed

I didn't dare to look at them. There was a silence,I finally looked up. Their mouths gaped. "After you broke up with El?" Dustin asked dumbfounded. "Oh.." Lucas said quietly realizing

"Wait I'm confused" Dustin said. "He cheated on El Dustin-how didn't you get it" Lucas asked. Not angrily,just in a tone so he understands. "No.." Dustin said sadly

"Yeah..it was the worst mistake i've ever done..I will never forgive myself " I said. "Are you okay El?" Dustin asked her. "Yes,I'm okay now-I just wish he would have told me about his feelings towards Will instead of kissing him while we were dating" She said

"But it's okay-I forgave him" She said smiling as I smiled back. "How did you find out?" Lucas asked. "We were just hanging out and when we got to the basement we saw them" El said looking at max and then at the boys

They nodded. "It's been many months-so it's okay now-I'm with Max and I couldnt be happier-Mike and I weren't meant to be-I think we would break up either way" El said

"I mean yeah-but it was still wrong" Dustin said sadly. "I know.." I said looking down. "Well-positive thoughts thr four of you are happy now!!" Lucas said trying to cheer us up. Dustin smiled as we all did

"Lucas I think it's time you make a move on Casie" Max told him smirking. "I don't know if she feels the same!" he said. "You guys have been flirting at that party we once went-i'm sure she feels the same" Max said as Lucas rolled his eyes playfully

Max's pov

Joyce came to take us home. El and I were sitting on her bed,reading magazines as usual while cuddling. She was a bit quiet

"El? Are you okay? Are you sleepy?" I asked her softly. "Yeah,I'm okay max-I'm not sleepy" she said smiling slightly but I was not convinced

"El..what's wrong-I can sense that something is wrong " I said. "It's nothing-I just feel a bit overwhelmed-I think it was because of today when we came out to our friends.." she said guilty

"oh.." I quietly said. "Yeah it was quite difficult to be honest..it went well at least-we have the best friends" I said trying to cheer her up

"Not at first.." she said. I frowned. "Uh yeah that's true-but yoi know mike speaks without thinking and his first guess was that one of us had a boyfriend..reasonable thought but yeah-my heart still sank because I thought they were homophobic" I said

"yeah-it's exactly what I was feeling " she said. I grabbed her hand. "It will be okay..I promise" I told her smiling as I kissed her forehead gently.

"I mean..i've just been thinking..if it was that hard to tell our own friends..imagine how hard it will be to our family.." she said looking down
