chapter 65: Byler

Will's pov

as soon as that happened i ran to my room ignoring mike calling me as i walked. I could hear max yelling slightly loud at him. I was mostly angry because he acted like he liked me,he even kissed me and then this happens

after a minute someone knocked on my room,i already knew who it was as i sighed. "what mike" i asked annoyed. "can i come in? i want to explain-" mike said but i cut him off

"there's nothing to explain,i understood clearly" i said simply trying to remain calm. There was a pause. "come on will please,just let me in and after-if you want me to leave i will-i just want you to know that i like you-" he said quickly as he sounded nervous

i finally opened the door. He stared at me with a relieved but surprised i let him in. He closed the door behind him. I sat on the edge of the bed as he did the same and sat next to me

"you speak first" i said after a moment of silence. "um..earlier.." he stuttered as he looked down nervously as if he was trying to find his words

i knew he acted like that when he was nervous because he isn't really good at expressing his feelings in general. I waited patiently not wanting to make him even more nervous

even though i was quite upset and angry at that time i still cared about him. "i didn't get jealous-i mean i did a little bit-" he stuttered again as my face fell because i thought my theory was true and it hurt my feelings

he finally looked at me. "not the way you think-i don't like el anymore,i was a bit jealous of their relationship because i want that like el seems way happier with max and I'm happy for her and all i just didn't expect it" he said

as he was done talking he made eye contact with me and i could tell he was studying my eyes  low key desperate and nervous to see if i understood what he meant

"okay but..it didn't seem like it but like-i got upset because i thought you liked me" i admitted. Fortunately i was calm and didn't let the tears fall as i slowly felt my anger go away

"i-i do like you" he said. "then why are you making it so complicated-and you're confusing me-first you hurt el's feelings by barely writing to her when we were in california,alright i guess you were trying to figure out your feelings and all but i thought it was over,are you sure you like me-second you cheat on my sister-um-el by kissing me,making me think you actually like me back" i said

damn that was almost a whole speech.

"i'm sorry..i really didn't mean to hurt your and el's feelings. I was being an asshole" he said quietly as i nodded accepting his apology. "okay-i forgive you" i said smiling softly as he smiled back relieved.

he suddenly hugged me. I froze for a second because mike isn't really a huggy person but i then immediately hugged him back. I felt butterflies in my stomach as he hugged me tighter

after a few seconds we pulled away. He didn't let go of me though. His hands were still wrapped around my neck and mine around his waist. We stared at each other's eyes as he finally leaned in and kissed me

i felt butterflies everywhere,sparks,fireworks. The best feeling ever. I couldn't be happier. I was kissing the guy i've been having a crush on since i was a kid and he felt the same way as me it sounded like a dream but it was real

*meanwhile*

el's pov

max and i were still in the living room waiting for the boys to come back. We were just talking. "why are they taking so long" i wondered. "they're either arguing still or making out" max said seriously but she smirked slightly when she said 'making out'

i giggled. "i hope its not arguing, i hate seeing will upset" i said as my mood changed at the thought of will being hurt. Max must have noticed because she suddenly put her hand on my knee comfortably

i smiled. "don't worry, i think its fine, and if not..i'm just gonna rip mike's head off-simple!" max joked shrugging.She always found a way to cheer me up even if some of her jokes were a bit stupid i liked them

i pushed her slightly jokingly. She smiled. "am i dating a serial killer?!" i joked as she giggled. "mhm" she joked. We laughed as we stared at each other's eyes

max looked around and then leaned in to kiss me as i immediately kissed back. We kissed for a while as the kiss got more passionate until we heard footsteps. It was mike and will coming downstairs. We quickly pulled away
