chapter 61: The bullies

max's pov

The kiss lasted for about 5 seconds then we both pulled away. We were both a blushing hard. I was probably as red as a stop sign at this point.

We both looked down, too shy to look at each other for a few seconds. "i-i feel the same way el.." i started as i gulped and looked up at her as she did the same. Her pupils grew slightly as she looked surprised yet happy

"really?" she whispered. I nodded smiling as she smiled back. "I'm sorry for saying that i didnt mean to lean in..it was a huge lie-i'ce regretted what i said the moment i said it but i couldnt fix it and take it back" i said as she frowned

"You could have..kissed me..maybe" she said smirking yet giggling slightly as i chuckled. I wasn't expecting ber to be bold enough to say that but i liked it

"yeah that's what i wanted to do" i said smiling while blushing slightly. "well, i guess you did it now" she said smiling shyly. I nodded smiling. "at least this time no one interrupted us" i said giggling. "yeah true" she chuckled. "i was so mad at that lady that walked in as we were about to kiss, not that it was her fault she walked in but yeah" she said

"oh yeah me too" i said smiling.We looked at each other's eyes for a few seconds, those brown eyes..i could stare at them for hours,her face, her cute button nose, pink lips that i wanted to kiss all the time, her, everything about her is amazing

El looked around slightly nervously,no one was in the park. She leaned in, getting close to my face. As if my heart wasn't alway racing it was even more now. Our lips were inches away

She seemed hesitated which sort of disappointed me because i wanted to kiss her again badly. What if she changed her mind because even though her lips were inches away from mine she wouldn't kiss me

She looked at my eyes for a split second then her eyes travelled down to my lips as i did the same. I could see it in her eyes, she did want to kiss me but was shy. I smiled. "don't be shy, you can kiss me" i reassured her. She smiled slightly and finally leaned in

She was probably nervous because i made the first move and leaned in earlier, i didn't blame her,i was 10x times nervous but tried to hide it by sounding confident. More butterflies filled in my stomach as we both smiled during the kiss

I knew what i wanted, i've denied my feelings for her for a while but i was wrong. Unfortunately you can't hide or ingore your feelings. I still couldn't believe that she liked me back, it's like i'm in a dream

Her lips tasted so good, she even had that mango lipgloss on her lips. My hands were around her neck, her hands placed on my waist. The kiss lasted a bit longer this time as it got more passionate

El's pov

Max and i were kissing again. It took me some time to have the courage to kiss her first even though she made the first move earlier but eventually i did it. Her lips were so soft, just how i imagined but even better

It felt so good, god how long I've wanted and waited to do that. I didn't waste any time but enjoyed the moment. My crush..my best friend felt the same way as me, i couldn't believe it

I felt millions of butterflies in my stomach as the kiss got more passionate. I've kissed mike before but this kiss was way different

It felt so much better, that's when i realized that those feelings towards my best friend were strong. I knew what i wanted now

After the long kiss we pulled away. As we opened our eyes we looked around, fortunately no one was in sight yet so we didn't get caught. It sucks being afraid of kissing someone just because we have the same gender
