chapter 64: double sleepover part 2

Will's pov

I heard the doorbell and ran to open it. I hesitated for a few seconds so he doesn't think i was desperately waiting for him to arrive

We both immediately smiled when we saw each other. I didn't know if he would be comfortable enough to hug him so i preferred not to risk it. I mean, since we're boys we're not really supposed to hug like girls

which is stupid if you ask me,last time we hugged was when i got back from california so it made sense. "come upstairs, max is here too" i said feeling a bit nervous to see his reaction

"max?" he frowned. He didn't sound mad,just genuinely confused. "yeah, el had the idea to do a double sleepover,i hope you don't mind-we can call the others too i just thought because we haven't hung out together in a long-" i quickly said nervously as he cut me off

"it's totally alright will,don't worry about it" he said smiling softly. I love his smile. I smiled back and nodded. "alright let's go" mike said as we went upstairs

We knocked on el's bedroom door. I made sure not to make a joke about them making out again because i realized mike doesn't know that el and max are dating

and i wouldn't tell him without their consent first anyways. It's not my place to do that. "come in" we heard el saying as we opened the door. They were still sitting on the bed

"hey guys" mike said. "hello" both girls said. "sucks to see me wheeler huh" max joked with a smirk making el and i giggle. "nahh i think we're kind of getting along now,right" mike said

"i guess" max shrugged. "okay so i was thinking to hang out by ourselves for now and then we can play board games all of us together and we could watch a movie at night" el suggested glancing at me for a second smirking

"sounds good" max said. "yep sure why not" mike added. I nodded in agreement. Mike and i left the room as we got into mine. "what do you want to do?" i asked. We were both slightly nervous for some reason

it's weird because we're best friends and we used to be so comfortable around each other. We still are but ever since we kissed it's a bit awkward. We decided to play some video games after all

*time skip,diner time*

We had ordered pizza and it had arrived 10 minutes later that it was supposed to be. Us teens wanted to eat by ourselves in the room as the adults were sitting in the kitchen but they didn't mind at all

"finally i'm starving" mike said dramatically making us laugh. "don't be dramatic wheeler,it's only been 10 minutes late" max said as mike frowned. "i could be dead in those 10 minutes" mike claimed as max rolled her eyes as el and i giggled slightly at their childish behavior

we then started eating as we turned on the tv. After eating we started playing monopoly. Max and mike were quite competitive as always, they're acting like siblings sometimes. I don't think it's really a bad thing. They're kind of getting along now

"ha! give me 100 bucks" mike said. Max sighed. Since we were only 4 people we didn't get into teams,so each one was on their own. Max glated at mike jokingly as he laughed

El gently put her hand on max's knee to calm her down as max blushed slightly. Max cleared her throat and spoke. "just so you see,i'll get my revenge" max confidently said as she went from flustered by el's hand on her knee to serious

"guys it's just a game-" i said. "we know" mike and max said at the same time. "we're just joking around for fun guys, i don't hate her we just want to make the game more interesting" mike said as el and i looked at  each other

"yep,i agree" max said. "oh alright then" el giggled. Then we continued playing. After about 20 minutes surprisingly el won

max automatically grabbed el's hand as el smiled. "well done" we all told el. They didn't let go of their hands though. I glanced at mike to see him staring at their intertwined hands
