After making sure I had all of my schools supplies, books, and other items. I packed my own belongings into my trunk. I placed one of my coloring books into my back bag and the color pencils. I placed my trunk by the door and my bag as well before looking around. My room looked so plain and boring. No colors around the room and it felt like a prison even more.

"Are you ready?" asked Madam Rivers at my door leaning on the door frame. She had tears in her eyes

"Yes ma'am,"I nodded with a tearful smile,"I can't believe I am going to Hogwarts and I am not weird. I'll miss my best friend but I'll see her at summer time,"

"You'll be able to talk to her all the time," said Madam Rivers,"By phone or letters,"

"That is true," I smiled as I drugged my trunk with me.

"Just take care of yourself Y/n/n," she smiled with tears in her eyes

"I will," I smiled brightly at her,"See you next summer,"

We headed downstairs and went to the lobby where McGonagall was waiting.

"Hello Miss. Riddle," she smiled,"We are running a little behind today,"

"Okay. Bye Madam Rivers," I smiled

"Bye deary," Madam Rivers gave a teary eye smile.

"Bye Y/n!" said Della running up

I picked up Della into a hug,"Take care of yourself okay Della?" I told her

"Yeah yeah. Learn new things," she giggled

I kissed her forehead before waving to the other orphans who were leaning over the railing. I waved to all of them before picking my trunk up again.

I headed out with Professor McGonagall. We got into a taxi as it would be quicker than a bus. I tried to contain my excitement as we headed to Kings Cross station.

Once we got there we loaded my trunk into the trolley,"Now I won't be able to stay with you. Once you get onto the train I will have to leave," said McGonagall as we walked through the station

"Thats okay,"I smiled

We walked to platforms 9 and 10. We walked down the way and she pushed my trolley right infront of the 3rd pillar. She motioned for me to hold on which I did. I matched her speed as we started running. I squealed as we ran towards the pillar. My eyes squeezed shut as we. . .

No hit.

I opened my eyes to see a bright scarlet red steam train. The platform seemed to have a few familes on it. I looked up to see a sign saying Platform 9 3/4. McGonagall began walking after smiling at me. I looked around in awe at everything. I got onto the train and waved bye to Professor Mcgongall.

"I'll see you soon," she smiled

"Bye,"

I blinked and she was gone. I looked around the station to see she had disappeared.

I headed to an empty compartment. I placed my trunk above the seats and sat on the bench. I read the clock outside which is ready 10:34. I pulled out my coloring book from my bag and sat on the train as more students came.

I heard talking and laughter fill the train as students walked past talking with their friends. I continued to color trying to calm my nerves until the compartment door opened,"Can we sit here?"

I looked up to see it was the boy from Diagon Alley who helped me up and another boy with short brown wavy hair,"Sure," I nodded to the other seat

"Don't know if you remember me but..."
