I felt myself twist and turn before landing on the ground. Narcissa helped me up and I dusted myself off from the floo powder. I looked around to see Diagon Alley, but it was a little bit less busy than when it was when I was here last in the summer.

"You did well for your first time using floo powder," said Narcissa

"Thanks," I smiled kindly

The sun was starting to set in Diagon Alley as Narcissa took my hand and led me through the street. I couldn't help but feel exicted about getting some new clothes items but not wanting a whole lot.

"Diagon Alley has some of the finest shops for witches and wizards," she said, her ice-blue eyes twinkling.

We entered Gladrags Wizardwear, where Narcissa selected an array of some long or short dress. Some I can wear now and some for when I grow.  As I tried on each gown, I felt like a princess in the luxurious fabrics and intricate detailing,"You look beautiful Y/n," smiled Narcissa

"Thank you," I smiled as I decided on a simple black long dress and a dark green fun but elegant dress.

"Remember, a proper witch must always look her best," Aunt Narcissa reminded me, her voice gentle yet firm. "Now, let's find you some matching flats."

We picked out a pair of black flats, new shoes as mine are old, and a pair of small heels. We got some regular clothing both clothes that would fit now and some I would grow into later on.

As we exited the shop, our arms filled with bags, Aunt Narcissa guided me to a little salon tucked away between a bookshop and a potion supply store. We stepped inside and I was met with the scent of lavender and rosemary enveloped us.

"Welcome to The Enchanted Locks," the stylist greeted us warmly. "What can I do for you two lovely ladies today?"

"Let's start with nails, shall we?" Aunt Narcissa suggested, her genuine smile  "Then perhaps a little something to freshen up our hair."

"Of course, right this way," the stylist guided us. I was a bit nervous following her,"Don't worry you'll love this," she smiled at me

Narcissa and I sat beside each other, our hands being pampered and our nails painted. Narcissa did a simple french tip while I had my nails painted a light green, I couldn't help but feel sadness. I had missed out on so many moments with my Aunt that I wished I had partaken in.
