"I wonder what the mad-hatters going to teach," said Theodore as we walked into D.A.D.A classroom

"I don't know but he was one of the best aurors ever," said Daphne setting her stuff down beside mine. 

We all sat down and started talking a bit. I noticed Lorenzo being quiet,"You alright," I said tapping his shoulder making him look up at me as I leaned back on his desk. 

"Yeah," he shrugged

"No what it is?" I said worried

"Jordan and I had a fight at the party and now she's really mad," he explained

"If you don't mind me asking what was it about?" I asked

"It was about our fathers. Their deal fell through and now they are putting pressure on us for it to talk with one another. But its hurting our relationship," he explained lowly so that only I would hear

"I think you two need to talk it out. Figure out how to stop your fathers from breaking your relationship," 

"That's the thing--" 

 Moody came into the room stopping Lorenzo from speaking,"Alastor Moody," he said with his arms behind his back. He began to write on the chalkboard,"Ex-Auror..Ministry Malcontent... and your new Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher," He turned around and looked at us. I looked at Daphne sitting forward

"I am here because dumbledore asked me," he looked at the right side of the room"End of story," middle of the room"Goodbye," left side,"the end," He looked back around"Any questions?" the whole class remained silent and stayed still

"When it comes to the Dark Arts. I believe in a practical approach. But first which of you can tell me; How many Unforgivable Curses there are?" asked Moody

"Three sir," said Hermione"Cause they are unforgivable. The use of any one of them will.."

"Will earn you a one way ticket to Azkaban, correct," he said writing on the chalkboard"Now the Ministry says you're too young to see what these curses do.I say different! You need to know what you're up against! You need to be prepared!" He turned around and grabbed a chalk"You need to find another place to put your chewing gum beside the underside of your desk Mr.Finnigan!"

"No way! The old codger can see out of the back of his head," Seamus said lowly to his neighbor

Moody threw the chalk at Seamus "And Hear across classrooms!"

"And throw to," I said cockily earning Moody's fake-eye to narrow in on me and move away quickly. Way to quickly if I may add

"So which curse shall we see first?" asked Moody walking up to us"WEASLEY!"

"Yes!" Ron said scared

"Stand!" yelled Moody

Ron stood up knocking his chair over making us laugh"Give us a curse," said Moody in a softer tone.

"Well...my dad did tell me about one. The Imperius curse?" said Ron stuttering

"Oh yeah..your father would know all about that. Gave the ministry quite a bit of grief a few years ago," said Moody"Perhaps this will show you why,"

 Moody walked back to his desk and grabbed a jar holding a spider. "Engorgio," the spider grew in size"Imperio!"

He made the spider go on Dean Thomas desk then Crabbes face"Dont worry. Its completely harmless," He moved it onto Pansys hair who squealed and brought it to Parvati hand and arm and over to Ron's head who began freaking out. Everyone was laughing "If she bites she is lethal," he laughed "What are you laughing at?" he asked Draco and moved it to his face

"Get it off," yelled Draco. Mattheo tried to swing it off of his face.

"Talented isn't she?" asked Moody"What should I have her do next? Jump out the window," the spider went to the window,"Drown herself," the spider was over a bucket of water." he placed the spider into his hands again. Daphne squeezed my hand tightly as she closed his eyes. 

"Scored of Witches and Wizard have claimed that they only did you-know-whos bidding under the influence of the Imperius Curse. But Here's the rub; How do we sort out the lairs?" said Moody"Another, Another,"

Almost everyone raised their hand; Neville slowly raised his "Longbottom is it?'

Neville stood up,"Professor Sprout tells me you have a aptitude for herbology," said Moody

Neville nodded"Th-There's the um... The Cruciatus Curse," he stutters

"Correct, Correct. Come, come," said Moody. Neville followed,"The torture curse,"

Then I remembered what my mother did to his parents. I grabbed the desk tightly,"CRUCIO" yelled Moody. The spider squealed in pain but my focus was on Neville who started to back away and from the looking at the spider and was in pain. I couldn't take Neville being in pain. 

"STOP IT! CANT YOU SEE ITS BOTHERING HIM?" Hermione yelled thankfully"STOP IT!"

Moody looked up at her then to Neville and stopped. Neville stayed at the desk while Moody grabbed the spider and walked up to me and Hermione. He set the spider in front of Hermione,"Perhaps you could give us the last Unforgivable curse, Ms.Granger,"

Hermione shook her head,"No?" asked Moody stepping back and pointing his wand at the spider"Avada Kedavra," a green light shot out of his wand and the spider was dead. 

 I looked at Harry,"The killing Curse. Only one person is known to have survived it...and they are sitting in this room," he said looking at Harry

Once he dismissed class we all headed out of the classroom quickly,

"What a nutter," said Blaise as we walked out of the classroom

"A complete nutter," I shivered shaken up. 

This week has been complete insane. First Draco was turned into a ferret which was hilarious. Next the Weasley twins got a month of detention like I predicted for that prank. Dutch has been weirdly nice to me which has been creeping me out. Cedric and I have not talked since the first night. 

I have noticed Mattheo and Daphne getting closer as well as Tracey and Theodore. Pansy and Draco as always has their on and off relationship. Blaise has been getting to know Luna. Lorenzo and Jordan have been struggling with their relationship but are slowly working through it. Lauryn claims boys are gross while Astoria tries to get boys attention. I know Hermione likes Ron and Ginny likes Harry but the boys are fucking idiots and can not see. 

My crush on Lorenzo is still there. It never went away but I pushed it down and keep trying to push it down because he is in a relationship. I shouldn't like him but he is amazing in every way. 

I have had a lot of boys come and hit on me. Which has been very weird and I am not used to it at all. I mean I have grown up but I have never had boys want to buy me coffee or go out of their way to walk me to class. It is quite weird.
