It's now December time. Nothing has really happened at the school so far. Everyone has been talking about their upcoming breaks. I am dreading it and don't even want to leave. Draco is still trying to come up with ideas for his task. I have been focusing on my relationship with Lorenzo. Trying to get the last bits of happiness before it's torn from my grasp. I have ignored all of the letters and boxes from Christopher. I just want to throw up every single time I see his name.
I found out from Hermione that after the Gryffindors won the quidditch match that Lavendar and Ron were making out. I felt bad for her because I know she has liked him since third year. Ron has been making fun of her a little because Hermione's not talking to him anymore. I ended up in detention for punching and breaking his nose but in my book, he deserves it.
Slughorn had invited me to his Christmas party. I am planning to go with Lorenzo. I am excited to just have us dancing without any of our friends to bother us.

I was finishing my makeup when there was a knock at my door. I adjusted my curls my back as I walked to my door. I looked at Lorenzo who had on a black suit with dark green bow tie. He held a bouquet of flowers for me. He grabbed my waist pulling me close, "Well don't you look good,"
"Not as good as you," I smirked running my hands on his tux
He massaged my waist before kissing me slightly not wanting to ruin my lipstick. I placed my hands on his neck pulling his head closer.
I smiled pulling away cleaning some lipstick off his lips before grabbing my purse. He set the flowers on my desk. Lorenzo grabbed my waist pulling me closer to him.
I smiled as we headed downstairs
"Where are you two going?" Asked Mattheo looking at us
"Slughorn party," said Blaise walking in a tux as Pansy walked down dressed in a long black dress behind us.
"Later Losers," I waved as Lorenzo and I walked off. I messed up Jorge's hair as we walked. He playfully glared at me.
Lorenzo and I headed to Slughorn party. I saw Harry and Luna walking together a few feet behind us. I thought it was kind of Harry to invite Luna as a friend to the party. They seemed like really great friends. Blaise and Pansy were flirting with one another in front of us. Lorenzo and I made it into the party and I noticed tons of people there not only students but famous people, vampires and more.
Lorenzo and I headed to get drinks before staying on the edge. We looked around and talked about who everyone was. I saw Hermione trying to get away from Cormac

I turned my head to Tom. I told Lorenzo I'd be right back and he nodded before saying he wanted to talk to a Quidditch professional.
"Hey Tommy," I said,"What's up?"
"Did you tell you friends?" He asked me. He couldn't get me out of it.
"No," I shook my head,"I couldn't bring myself to do it,"
"You and Lorenzo?" He asked me
"I'm going to end it," I said tearing up, "I don't want to but it's not right to string him along. He deserves to be happy,"
He tapped my shoulder. Tom nodded for me to go off and be with Lorenzo . I waved and went to Lorenzo who was talking with the quidditch professional. I smiled as Lorenzo brought me close to him as he finished up his conversation with the professional.
We headed onto the dance floor and danced a little bit before my name was called. I walked over to Slughorn smiling slightly as he was near Snape and Mcgonagall.
"I heard you want to open an orphanage or center of magical children?" He asked me
"Yes. I wanted to open a center for magical children. There are a lot of children of magical backgrounds who don't have a family, or their family is not the greatest and need to get away. A way for them to connect and learn who they truly are," I smiled. But now I can't do that.
"That's amazing Miss. Riddle,"Slughorn said surprised.
I nodded as Lorenzo was looking at me. Slughorn asked me a few more questions about it. McGonagall was looking at me with raised eyebrows. I looked at her,'Wanted?' She mouthed
I looked away from her and sighed before continuing my conversation with Slughorn. The party doors opened and Filch had Draco's arm. Snape walked over as they were talking. Snape dragged Draco away.
Lorenzo pulled my arm away,"What did you mean wanted? You know you could still do that right?" He asked
"Yeah I know," if only I could,"I was saying wanted as it will be a lot of money and I need to work hard to be able to afford it," I mumbled
"Fire. You know I'll help you. We are in this together," he whispered
I smiled at him and brought him down for a kiss. He pulled me close to him and I melted in his arms. As the night bore on, I tried to get myself to stop thinking about what Lorenzo's life would be without me in it. He would find someone he would marry and they would grow old and have children.
"Fire. You have been off lately? Is it the task you have to do? What is it? Maybe I could help," Lorenzo looked at me worried as he spoke lowly.
"No. I just don't want to leave Hogwarts and go home," I sighed,"You won't be at the Manor. And I'll have to deal with my mother," I whispered
He tucked my curls behind my ear before kissing my forehead,"I'm a call away," he muttered
I nodded as he wrapped his arms around me tightly. I didn't want to leave his arms ever again.
