"Why isn't my breakfast done?" Christopher growled, sitting at the head of the table glaring at me above his newspaper. Theodore looked up from his summer homework and sneered at him.
"Well, if you would wait two more minutes. Then you'll get your breakfast," I looked over at him as his toast was done in my hand. I was able to have it a little burnt. I placed butter onto it before setting it down on the plate.
I gasped when a hand went to my hair pulling it back. Christopher grabbed the back of my neck, I nearly fell back how he held me "Don't disrespect me," Theodore stood up ready to jump in.
"I wasn't. I merely was...augh," he tossed me onto the ground before grabbing his plate and walking off.
I waved off Theodore shaking my head as I got up dusting myself off. I started cleaning up the mess from breakfast. It's been like this every day. If I don't do something on time, he either hits me or throws me on the ground. I try my best to do what is needed but it's not good enough to him. I just want to be in Lorenzos arms, and I will be tonight when he comes over for the slot.
I winced as I grabbed a pan. I looked at my wrist to see it was swollen from me falling. After I finished, I turned around drying my hands. Theodore looked at me raising his eyebrows asking if I was okay
'I'm okay,' I said in his mind which he blinked at before his face expression changed to realization of me doing legitimacy.
Christopher stood up abruptly and started walking to me, "I told you sunny side up,"
"No, you said scrambled," I said backing away
Christopher hand raised and I looked away ready for his hand to meet my face, but it never happened.
"Let go of me," Christopher growled
"You will not hit her. You said scrambled Father, "Theodore sneered holding his father's wrist tightly.
Christopher got out of Theodores grip and turned around walking away. I let out a breath as he left through the doors. Theodore turned to me and pulled me in for a hug which I needed. He held me tightly as I wiped the tears in my eyes, "I know I shouldn't be scared but he is too strong for me to handle. How can an 80-year-old be that strong?"
"I know," I heard him say as I pulled back
"How did you manage to grow up here?"
"I practically lived at Lorenzos," Theodore spoke, "Every waking second I was there,"
I nodded wiping my nose with my palm, "We should get ready for the meeting,"
Theodore nodded. I headed up to my room looking at my wrist which turned blue. I wrapped it up with a brace before getting dressed. I dressed in a black dress and black heels before pulling my blonde hair back. I looked at it to see my brown hair showing through as I haven't colored in a hot minute. But Christopher hasn't said anything about it, so I am just letting it grow until he says something.
I headed downstairs as my ponytail hit my neck. Theodore was standing tall a few feet from his father. I continue walked, "Shall we?" I went through them and outside.
I apparated to the Malfoy Manor and the two followed. I started walking again looking at my home with a small smile on my lips. I headed inside without knocking to see Narcissa at the door talking with Lainey as Mr. Berkshire talked with Lucius.
"Y/n!" Narcissa smiled
I smiled brightly walking up to her after not seeing her since I was forced to get married, "Mama Cissa,"
I hugged her tightly and she kissed my temple. She held me tighter as I did to. She pulled back and looked at Christopher and Theodore behind me. She nodded, "Christopher, Theodore. Head on up to the dining table. I have some things to discuss with Y/n,"
