[Sean's POV]
It had been a little over a week since Mark had left and I was beginning to feel a change in myself already, each morning I'd wake up and go on social media to reply to the viewers rather than curl up in a ball and do nothing productive. I hadn't posted any new videos but, today was the day where I was going to begin organising my comeback and letting the viewers know that it wouldn't be long until a new video was up. I opened up my Twitter and typed a short tweet,
@Jack_Septic_Eye - exciting stuff happening today!!
I decided not to give too much away because I didn't know all of it myself, I just had a rough idea. I glanced over at the clock, 9:17 am. I was meeting up with Daithi to get breakfast at ten and discuss some possible new merch so I made my way over to the bathroom for a quick shower. Once I was changed and ready I sent a quick text to Mark, even though it was heading on 2 am where he was.
Jackaboy: Getting breakfast with Daithi then talking to Fanfiber about some new merch, wish you were here to help me bro! Hope you're sleeping well ✨
I slid my phone into my pocket and began my walk to the usual café that we ate at for breakfast, they had the nicest food and the nicest staff, so it was always a win win situation when you went there. When I arrived, I spotted Daithi in the corner signing something for a young girl. I slowly made my way over and smiled at her as I got closer to the table, her jaw slightly dropped before a huge smile spread on her face.
"Oh my - what - I just," She said, attempting to string a sentence together. I laughed at her,
"Hey, do you want me to take a picture for you?" She handed me her phone and nodded as Daithi got up and stood next to her.
"Can we get one hugging or one smiling? I don't mind which." He wrapped an arm around her and leant his head on hers,
"We can have both!" I couldn't help but smile as her face lit up with joy, I snapped both of the pictures before switching places with Daithi.
"Do you want a picture with me or?" I questioned, not wanting to force her into it. She smiled and nodded,
"You two are my favourite Youtubers, of course I want a picture." I cooed her and gave her a big hug before getting the pictures and saying thank you. I signed some paper for her and waved her goodbye before sliding into my seat opposite Daithi.
"Have you ordered?" I asked, he nodded and pointed to the man behind the counter.
"I literally walked in and he asked me if you were coming and wrote down the usual, I think we've been her enough times." I laughed at him and we both got our laptops out and placed them on the table.
"So, discussion time. Who's going first?" He asked as a woman set our drinks down on the table.
"I will," We nodded and waited for the woman to leave before continuing.
"I owe you the biggest thank you in the world. I really wasn't expecting Mark to turn up at my door, I cried so much when I saw him." He laughed lightly and shook his head,
"Honestly you don't need to thank me, I know how down you were and I felt that I had to do something to make it better. So Mark was the answer." I leant back in my chair and smiled at him, he was such an amazing friend. I was so lucky to be surrounded by people like him and Mark.
"I do need to thank you, you helped me get that boost I needed to get back on track with YouTube. So I owe you man, wherever, whenever, I'll be there." A little grim formed on his face and he began typing on his laptop.
"Well there is something you could help me do..." He trailed off, I sat upright and nodded.
"Anything bro, you say it and I'll do it." He turned his laptop around to face me and pointed to his screen, there was images of a flat in America.
"I'm moving to America for five months and I'd love it if you helped me pack." My jaw dropped as I stared at the pictures in front of me.
"Daithi that's amazing! Yes of course I'll help you pack man, how come you've left it so late to tell me?" He turned his laptop back around to face him and shrugged,
"I knew you'd been down and I didn't want to dump this on you. I wanted you to be back to your old self before I announced it." I leant across and patted him on the shoulder.
"Well good on you, I hope you enjoy it! I'm going to miss you though." He nodded and began to explain what his plans were and whereabouts he was going to be moving to.
"So you had something to say about merch?" I opened up a folder on my laptop and turned it to face him,
"If you scroll through there you'll find a few designs for merch that I was thinking of doing. I've got to email Fanfiber later and then we can discuss what happens from there." He scrolled through and pointed out a phone case and a top with my new logo on,
"These are awesome, I think they'd sell really well too. You should go with them." I thanked him and we sat back to have a catch up with each other, as well as some more coffee and cake and a cheeky selfie of me eating a sandwich (which I uploaded to Instagram).
----
After I had gotten home I'd sent an email to Fanfiber with the suggestions of mechanise that I had managed to rack up, it had been a while since anything new had come out so the time was just right. I had to wait a few hours for the response because they had to adjust a few things but we came to a decision and new merchandise was being made as we spoke.
I'd eaten and answered a few other emails before deciding to Skype with Felix, we hadn't spoken in a while and I didn't want him to think I was ignoring him.
"Hey man! You've been gone a while." Felix laughed as his face appeared on my screen, I removed my jacket and sighed.
"I know, too long. Had a lot of drama to deal with but I'm all good now. How you been?"
The conversation carried on for a while, talking about what had happened whilst Mark was here and how Marzia's book was coming along. I was definitely going to order it when it came out because I'm a huge fan of anything horror, so it seemed pretty interesting. I eventually opened up about what happened with Klo and we'd discussed it, he'd been super helpful and supportive.
"Felix, can I ask you a question?" I said, my voice cracking slightly.
"Yeah man go ahead." I cleared my throat and looked down at my hands.
"How long after a breakup do you find yourself liking somebody else?" He tilted his head slightly before shuffling in his seat.
"In all honesty, there's not a certain amount of time. Whilst you were in a relationship you could have subconsciously liked somebody else, and now you might become aware of it because you're single. Why do you ask?" I shook my head,
"Just wondering, I was curious." He smiled and we finished up our Skype conversation as it began getting late and Felix had videos to record.
I decided to head to bed too because it was late, so I made my way to my room and grabbed a top out of the fresh washing. I pulled it on and frowned at how it was slightly baggy on me, I shuffled out of my jeans and widened my eyes, realising I was in Mark's top that he must have left here. I shrugged, there was no point in taking it off now, right?
