fluff and bit of angst.

-au-atsushi is age regressing.

Warning:

(Age regressing is a temporary or long-term reversal of behavior to earlier states of development. It is normal and expected in children but does occur in adulthood as well. Third person pov

The agency was basically now well aware about atsushi being a age regressing. The agency supports atsushi and they're glad that, he has a healthy coping mechanism. When atsushi is little though, he needs someone to take care of him, kyouka did in fact volunteer to take care of atsushi and basically be his caregiver but because she's so young, she wasn't allowed to. Dazai wasn't responsible enough and he's not good with kids so kunikida took the rule of being atsushi caregiver. Atsushi sadly has a habit of not saying anything because he doesn't want to be bother.

This time, atsushi was stressed, he was tired, he didn't want to do this at all. Atsushi wanted to be cuddling but he didn't ask, he didn't want to be a bother to anyone. No one seems to notice this but soon ranpo did and he obviously informed kunikida about it because atsushi was literally on the verge of being little. Kunikida just sigh, he didn't have a problem taking atsushi home but he wish that atsushi would say something. "Atsushi..we're going home." Kunikida softly said, atsushi just looked up kunikida, atsushi suddenly hold out his hand, he wanted to be carried.

Kunikida just smiled as he slowly picked up atsushi, immediately atsushi just snuggles into kunikida, kunikida was warm and atsushi love that, atsushi hated the cold. Everyone else just stare at kunikida, they all smile and wave goodbye as kunikida walk out with atsushi in his arms. The walk back to the dorm was pretty short because the dorm are closed to the agency building, usually when atsushi is little, they stay in kunikida dorm so that where they went. It was quite obvious that atsushi was very little but kunikida wasn't sure what age because atsushi doesn't usually talk, when little.

"Atsushi, I'm going to get you some comfy clothes." Kunikida softly said, atsushi just whine, he didn't want kunikida to leave. "I'll be gone for a minute." Kunikida softly said, atsushi just whine again but does let go of kunikida, atsushi want to be in different clothes. Kunikida was only gone for a minute, and when he came back into the living room, atsushi was still there but has two tiger ear and a tail, sometimes when he little, he can't really control his ability but he won't transform fully because of fukuzawa ability so two tiger ear and a tail pops out.

Kunikida just chuckled as atsushi hold out his hand, he wanted to be held. "let's get you into some comfortable clothes and then we can ccuddle" kunikida softly said, atsushi just whine ans nodded. Kunikida was actually perfect fine changing atsushi, atsushi just wanted to be held so he didn't pay attention. As soon as kunikida was done dressing atsushi, atsushi tail wraps around kunikida, which made kunikida chuckle again, it was very adorable. Atsushi just hold out his hand again, kunikida just picked up and sit down with atsushi basically in his lap.

Atsushi was just snuggling into kunikida chest as kunikida turn on the TV so atsushi could watch something. Atsushi just stare at the tv, atsushi never talk at all, which was concerning but they couldn't force him to talk so they just have to wait until he wants to speak. Kunikida does knows that atsushi was happy because of the tail moving back and forth. "Kuni.." Atsushi suddenly said as he yawns, kunikida looked surprised but then he smiled. "Yes?" Kunikida softly said, atsushi just smiled as tries to snuggle more into kunikida, atsushi was trying to show affection, and kunikida surprisingly seen to understand that.

After a while, atsushi was yawning more so it was time for bedtime. Kunikida slowly lay atsushi down but atsushi just whine, he didn't want to be alone. Atsushi started to cry as he hold out his hand again, kunikida just sighed as he sit down. "I'm not leaving.." Kunikida softly say as he play with atsushi hair, atsushi just hold onto kunikida legs. Atsushi has stop crying but he didn't let go of kunikida legs, even in his sleep. Kunikida just stay there the whole time because if he move then atsushi would wake so he fell asleep right next to atsushi.
