Chapter 51

While Niyati was busy going through her grief 

Kabir called the no.of Prakash , who is the owner of a detective agency whom kabir has helped with investment to start his business .

   After his accident when he came to know about this investment he was surprised as to why he was required to invest in a small business like this. But as the business was giving him profit so he didn't bother much.

 But today it was the very first time he felt it useful 

“ Niyati Sharma ,no she must be Niyati duggal at that time, student of St Martin in the year 2***,I want all the information about her.

And for this half an hour is more than enough for you to accomplish this work ,isn't it?” 

 Prakash was horrified to hear his words, and told him “ yes sir definitely “ 

“  Good “ Kabir replied 

   He scanned the lawn and saw that many people were having a great time at the sangeet party, but the person he was looking for was nowhere to be seen.

With a happy avni in her arms, Avantika reached out to Kabir. 

"What time did she wake up?"

   

“ Just now, and started searching for you. She really got attached to you and is really going to miss you from day after tomorrow “

 “ I will miss her too aunty “ 

 With a smile, Avantika walked away, letting them play together. Kabir struck up a conversation with Avni once more, and the girl listened to him while she giggled.

But soon she started wailing again . kabir tried to console her but she didn't stop wailing 

So Kabir searched for avantika. And found her busy in discussion with malini 

  Avantika took Avni in her arms  and told kabir 

“ I Should search for niyati ,she needs her mother now. “

  Kabir gave a nod at her and soon Avantika took her leave .

  Malini held his son's arms and told him

“ Come, we will enjoy some ice cream now, as I forget to have it  “

 “  Mom.. you are impossible sometimes”

“ Ooh come on Kabir “ 

   Kabir sighed and followed his mother soon they get their ice creams from the ice cream counter and got settled near the garden 

Malini was enjoying the view of the kids who are busy playing in the garden 

“Kabir, I believe  childhood is the best period  of our lives , when you don't even understand what grief and worry is . Just lost in your own world . For instance look at the kids  ,the guests are enjoying drinks and dance and this side these little kids are busy playing musical chair 

   Kabir was not listening to his mother’s words, rather he was busy checking the received message from prakash .

His doubt was right , niyati had been his junior in college but what surprised him more was the small duration of time in which she attended the college and left the course in between 

Kabir glanced at the children playing in the garden while seated on the lawn .

The woman who seems so familiar to him is still on his mind.

He noticed how Aditya was focused on winning the musical chair.
