Meg

Everyone tells you that walking down the aisle is one of the scariest moments of your life. That it's the most nerve wracking, but here and now I just want to be back in the arms of the man I love.

It was finally the day everyone had been waiting for since Lando proposed nearly three years ago now. We never had a wedding, but that didn't mean we didn't get married.

In fact we got married in private, just the two of us and Max and P as our witnesses. We had been married for over a year but never had the heart to tell my parents or Landos that we hadn't invited them to our real ceremony. We didn't need a big wedding, I just wanted to be with him forever.

After fighting off a wedding for years I finally stand in a white dress with everyone making a fuss around me. My mother playing with my hair to ensure everything was perfect, I guess it was a scary day when you weren't already married to the man at the end of the aisle.

"Where is your bouquet!" My mother freaks as she walks around the room frantically. I can't help but giggle when I catch the sight of Ruby sat on the floor pulling petals off the flowers of my bouquet on the floor.

"I think Ruby has it" I giggle, I walk over to her before crouching down.

She was two and full of sass, she was a mini Lando through and through. Everyone wanted the day to be perfect but I knew that Lando being at the end of the aisle was enough to let me know it would be perfect.

"Roo can you pass mummy the flowers?" I ask her, I watch as she looks at me with a mischievous smile on her face. She plucks a flower out before passing me the rest of the bouquet.

"This mine" She tells me, I look down at the white rose in her hand.

"Of course baby" I tell her as I kiss her forehead.

Ruby would be walking down the aisle just before me to her dad. Of course P would be walking with her otherwise I'm sure it would be a free for all.

The wedding was extremely private, we only had minimal people here closest friends and family members. I just didn't need a big wedding, I just wanted him. I had never been so in love in my entire life, Lando and I had never been so close before.

There was always a time when I thought we couldn't be closer then we just proved ourselves wrong. It was the fact we had just discovered we were about to have our second baby that had caused it this time.

I was four months pregnant now, luckily I had not been showing this time. I didn't know why but I had hardly any bump, so we had decided to keep this to ourselves for a while. We did know we were having a little boy this time around, I could see how much this meant to Lando.

He had always spoken about wanting to pass down his karting passions, Ruby had shown little to no interest in cars or karting at all. In fact she really didn't seem to like it at all, I knew this had broken Lando a little but with another baby on the way I just hoped our little boy would show some more interest in his passion.

"Are you nervous?" My mum asks me as she holds my face in her hands.

I smirk knowing that it didn't matter how this went, I was already married to the love of my life.

It was a secret we had decided to keep to avoid upsetting anyone. I know how stupid it sounds but I just wanted to keep everyone happy.

"A little" I play along with her.

"I just know how much he loves you" She tells me before kissing my forehead. "And Ruby" She smirks as she leans down to pick up Ruby, she places her on her hip.

"Let's do this" I tell her.

The sound of a piano version of Crazier bu Taylor Swift begins to play. It was the only song I wanted to walk down the aisle to, plus Lando didn't care he just wanted me to be happy.

I watch as P and Ruby start their walk down the aisle. I look to my side where my dad stands, he holds his arm out for me to take, I lace my arm in his before leaning my head on his shoulder for a second.

"You're so beautiful Meg" He tells me. "Lando is very lucky"

"Thank you dad" I tell him.

I take a deep breath before we begin the walk down the aisle. Right away I see Max stood next to Lando, Max had a smile on his face but I couldn't see Lando as his back was to me at this moment in time.

Max taps him on the shoulder before he turns around, the second my eyes link with Landos. Right away tears fall from his eyes causing them to start brewing in mine.

God I was so in love with this man.

The walk felt like a lifetime but I finally reached my forever.

"You're so beautiful" Lando speaks as tears fall down his cheeks. I lean up and kiss his lips as I was unable to restrain myself from him.

I was so deeply in love I just wanted him.

Lando and I walked deeply into each other's eyes as the celebrant spoke us through the process we had already been through before. This time the vows would be in front of everyone, I would declare my love in front of everyone.

"Miss Fewtrell you first" The celebrant speaks.

Of course I wasn't Miss Fewtrell, I hadn't been for a year now. I was Mrs Norris but we had a part to play.

"Lando, I think everyone knows I've had a crush on you since I was a 15 year old girl. You were my first crush as my brother's best friend, I had always looked at you as the dream man. The only man I ever truly wanted, but deep down in my heart I never thought you would become the greatest love I've ever had. You saved my life at the time when I needed you the most, you showed me what it felt to truly be loved. You've given me the best years of my life along with everything I had ever wanted with Roo. I will never be able to explain how much you truly mean to me and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you"

I look at Lando as he tears up, I smile as I feel him take my hand.

"Meg, there is no words to ever describe how much you have changed my life for the better. I didn't think I could ever love anyone the way I love you, you are my best friend. You are the only woman I have ever loved, I just cannot imagine my life without you and I am proud to call you mine for the rest of my life. No matter what happens I promise to never take you for granted, I promise to be your biggest supporter in life and I will always be by your side. I promise that I will spend every second of my life ensuring you are nothing but happy with me. I love you Meg and I always will I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with you"

There was nothing I could ever want more in my life than the man in front of me. Lando was the love of my life and he had given me everything I could ever want.

Lando was my forever.
