SEASON1 EPISODE3
cassie waited outside her counselors office, she reviewed her transcripts and some of her recommendation letters from heads at some extra law classes she doing. "cassidy gilmore?" the girl looked up and grabbed her stuff.
"i have always wanted to go to nyu and become a lawyer, its been my dream ever since i could remember." cassie looked around the room, she had been preparing for college applications since she was 13, and of course she had to make herself look good. "I have been taking some undergraduate classes, so i could take my LSAT, by the middle of my first year of university."
soon after her interview was done she stopped by the cafe, to order a coffee to get ready for ivy week night. the blonde looked over to see nate, aubrey and chuck at a nearby table. "hey c, you ready for tonight?" her best friend asked, "really nervous, what about you guys?" the blonde sat down, "eh ill impress them with my charm" the bass replied. nate and cassie shared an awkward glance since the two hadn't seen each other since cassie stayed the night, because she missed the kiss on the lips party and was sick during chucks dad's brunch. "uhm cass, you get your dress yet?" nate asked, "not yet but i know, ill look better than you archibald." the blonde said attempting to get rid of the awkwardness. cassie was just about to speak when she heard her phone buzzing like crazy.
it was a bunch of spam calls, and texts from the same number. cassie read the texts in her mind, "i see you gilmore", "you can't hide much longer" and "ill see you soon bitch". cassie was weirded out but she thought it was just some freak playing a prank on her. "cassie you good?" aubrey laughed at her bestie's confused face, "yeah i'm fine, i got to go pick up my dress for tonight, bye guys!" the blonde quickly ran out of the coffee shop. she saw a cute blue-eyed blonde smiling at her, but she was hit with a wave of nostalgia, she swore this person looked familiar, cassie didn't wanna be rude, so she smiled back.
a few hours later cassie was just spraying on her perfume while waiting for her mother to arrive so they could go to the ivy week. she had her long blonde hair curled with a fancy blue top with a connected long black skirt. her twin brother was in the other room also waiting for their mom, it was 6:30, fifteen minutes before they had to leave. cassie walked over to her brother "do you think mum's gonna be here soon or should we just leave?" the blonde felt hopeless, she knew her mum always prioritizes everything other than her kids. "mum's gonna come soon cass" ryan looked up from his phone. "soo, do you like aubrey?" the sister smirked, "shut up cassie." the brunette prayed his mom would come home soon. "i'm just asking, you two always look at each other, like you wanna have sex." cassie laughed, " i mean she is hot though, i can't lie." ryan said eating a piece of garlic bread, "that's disgusting" cassie threw a pillow at her brother, but as usual her mother got in the way. "cassidy clara-jane davis gilmore! i understand i was a bit late, but you don't throw pillows at your mother." the woman put down her channel bag. " a tiny bit, mum we were supposed to be there right now! but oh let me guess you had a work meeting?" the daughter rolled her eyes. "sales ran late, but let's go now, I always look good, sorry you didn't get the good genes, right ry?" monica looked at her son, who just walked out.
almost being an hour late cassie and her family made it. as soon as cassie was abt to enter the event, she saw the exact same , blue-eyed guy from earlier she waved at him and he waved back.
"cassidy, ryan? go find nyu and columbia and make me proud, especially you cassie." monica laughed " and cass, if you need me, just let me know, your mum can really stand out at these things" she whispered.
cassie ends up having a really good conversation with the new york university representative, but it was cut short when blair came on the mic. "oh no excuse me for a minute will you please?" the blonde runs off to find aubrey. cassie looks at her friend whos hair looks messed up, her lip stick is smudged and her dress isn't on properly. "what the hell happened to you?" cassie fixes her bestie's dress when she sees her twin brother whos lips are a similar color to the brunette girls. the blonde smirks while she makes eye contact with nate who obviously saw the same thing.
"girls come on blair is about to make a speech hurry!" nate rushes the girls. cassie and aubrey walk up to nate and ryan, but the two notice aubrey and ryan having awkward tension and share a look. "so gilmore, how about we set our two friends up? aubrey can be ms gilmore?" nate whispers to the blonde. "your on, my place after? don't be a pain in my ass." cassie whispers back. the two's conversation is cut short when blair mentions serena is a patient at the ostroff center.
"oh my god." cassie and aubrey glance at eachother, while ryan is in shock and nate is wondering what the fuck his girlfriend is doing to her best friend. cassie walks up to the brunette and pulls her aside, "blair what the hell are you doing?", "i'm just getting started cass" the waldorf glared at everyone staring at her, "b you can't do this, this isn't okay." cassie whispered loudly trying to make a point, " whos side are you on cassidy?" blair yelled at the blonde, "yours but this is way to far, just call a truce with rena at least!" cassie tried to be as calm as she could, but blair was getting on her nerves.
serena just finished her speech and walked off, and cassie was about to follow her. "you traitorous bitch!" blair slapped cassie across the face. serena turned around, parents, representatives, dan, jenny, aubrey, ryan and chuck were all shocked at what blair just did. cassie got really teary-eyed and ran away, serena ran after her. "blair?! what was that? you just slapped the person who was your rock when serena left, cassie was there for you through everything and you do that to repay her?" nate told blair.
aubrey, chuck, ryan and nate caught up to cassie at the front of the building. "cassie are you okay??" aubrey hugged the blonde as hard as she could. "you still want us to come, i got alcohol and cigarettes?" chuck asked, "mom isn't gonna be here too, so party!" ryan added to that. "yeah sure come over in like half an hour? cassie wiped her eyes.
an hour later the group was hanging out at the gilmores place, cassie looked much better and new faces arrived. aubrey and ryan were smoking a joint in the balcony and getting quiet close, chuck and dan were having a playful argument, and serena and cassie were catching up. the doorbell rang and serena went to get it while cassie was eating chocolate ice cream from the tub on the couch. nate brought pizza for everyone and blair, who some people weren't so happy to see. "seat taken?" cassie nodded for blair to sit. "spoon?" cassie offered the brunette, and she took it and offered whipped cream. blair ended up pouring half the bottle. " i'm so sorry cassie, you were everything to me when serena left, i wouldn't have survived with out you. i shouldn't have slapped you, i was just scared you would leave me for serena." blair cried, "i love you so much blair, i could never leave you." cassie laid her head on blair's shoulder, " i love you too cass." blair laid her head on the blondes head, as she watched her friend bite into the whipped cream.
the doorbell rang again, but that's weird since everyone is already here. "ill get it!" cassie jumped off the couch.
"hi, is this the davis-gilmore household?"
"yeah it is, whats up?"
" i think i'm your sister."
