CASSIE waited at a nearby cafe for sydney and jenny to show up since syd texted her to meet her because they wanted to talk to her. cassie was still grappling the news of her mother being pregnant. she doesn't know who the father is and monica won't budge, but she did find out that monica is around 4 ish months.
"cassie!" jenny smiled walking into the cafe with sydney trailing behind her. "little j!" cassie hugged the blonde then her sister after. "so we need your help with something because-" jenny started but cassie interrupted, "because i'm the cool and best older sibling?"
sydney and jenny smiled at eachother and then looked back at cassie, "sure, but we are planning a fashion show at lily's gala tonight and we need entertainment, can you find us something?" jenny asked.
"wait jen, i don't know if we have the budget for songs." sydney started but jenny's smile faded. "but cassie can you sing one song please! one song is all we need! "she pleaded. "sure but i'm not the best just letting you know." cassie responded. "your the best cass thank you!" sydney jumped and hugged the girl.
"oh my god this is really happening sydie!" jenny laid her head onto sydney's shoulder, "thank you so much ill send you guys the deets to meet me and agnes tonight!" jenny gave sydney a tight hug before she left.
sydney was so happy and blushing after that interaction with jenny. "you like jenny humphrey don't you?" cassie said laying her head back onto her chair. "what no?" sydney denied but it wasn't working. "trust me honey i have excellent gaydar, i dated a gay guy for almost half a year" cassie chuckled. "dylan?" sydney guessed, "no no someone else in middle school" the older sister smiled. "okay i guess i do like her a tiny bit" cassie gave her sister a look, "okay a lot!" she blushed.
hours later cassie, agnes, jenny and sydney were at the humphrey house getting ready to leave but they realized they have a problem. "cassidy you should have told us your license was suspended earlier!" agnes yelled. "i'm so sorry i totally forgot!" cassie apologized. "its fine its fine guys, we can find another way." sydney reassured.
"cassie call nate! he can drive us!" jenny piped up and cassie grabbed her phone.
"he said he will meet us outside, lets go grab the stuff!" cassie said rushing outside.
the four girls and nate were in the car on their way to the gala. "i can't believe you made me do this, dan is gonna kill me and i'm staying at his house!" nate yelled, "well pretty boy either it was you driving us or i would drive and get us all in a wreck and possibly murder your girlfriend." agnes smiled and nate rolled his eyes.
"if my dad kicks you out you can stay with me babe" cassie held onto his hand.
"okay guys we are here, you guys all know the plan right?" jenny asked, and everyone nodded.
cassie and nate got out of the car and walked into the party. "wait so your going to sing?" nate asked holding onto his girlfriends arm in the crowded party. "yes i am" cassie stammered. "wow i can't wait to see this" nate chuckled and cassie slapped his arm lightly.
