TODAY THE MOORE-GILMORE HOUSE WAS FILLED WITH EXCITEMENT. sydney had plans today to confess her love to brooklyn queen jenny humphrey at her sweet 16th birthday party tonight, with a lot of force from cassie and nate.
"yknow sydney, i was actually going to tell cassie i liked her on her birthday" nate told the moore while putting his arm around cassie. "oh yeah i was gonna tell you too, but then i got hit by a car" cassie laughed.
"god I hope jenny doesn't get hit by a car" sydney mumbled.
the 3 had walked knocked on the door of the ryans house to eat his special pancakes. "oh hey guys" he opened the door. "hey older brother!" sydney walked inside, with cassie and nate following behind. "you should make your special strawberry pancakes, because I might get a girlfriend today" sydney boldly said.
"yes please make your pancakes ry, i'm starved" cassie pleaded, "i love ryan's pancakes" nate smiled. "i'm only making them since nate wants me to" he winked at the archibald. "this is why i love you, you treat me like a princess" he hugged the twin brother.
"ryan please make something to eat, i'm starved!" blair said running into the kitchen in ryan's shirt unaware that nate, cassie and sydney were right in front of her.
"blair cornelia waldorf! how dare you not tell me your sleeping with my brother" cassie scolded.
"oops! but anyway now that the secrets out " she jumped on ryan and placed a kiss on his lips while Sydney took a picture.
"anyway so what's this about confessing to jenny humphrey" blair asked. sydney took a breath than explained, "tonight at jenny's huge party i'm gonna tell her in private I like her!" sydney chuckled.
"hate to ruin your plans but serena cancelled jen's big party" "but serena has her mind set on throwing a big party so i wouldn't worry much.
the waldorf girl said.
in the end the party turned out to become a suprise party so cassie and sydney went shopping to find something to wear that night. cassie opened her phone because she heard a gossip girl blast.
"sydney! did you send blair and ryan to gossip girl?" cassie scolded. "yeah for aubrey to see, that snakey little bitch" sydney scowled. "sydney!" cassie scoffed.
even though she felt betrayed but what aubrey did to her, regardless aubrey was her best friend no matter what and cassie would always care about her.
halfway through the party, cassie had asked the friend group to meet up to talk about aubrey.
cassie, nate, blair, ryan, serena, vanessa, chuck and dan had all sat down in the guest bedroom of the vanderwoodsen house.
"can we hurry I have people to greet?" serena asked.
"okay it's been a month since aubrey has left" cassie could feel her brother's heart ache. "does anyone have any ideas on what happened or where she went?" everyone shook their heads no.
"what did she say in everyone's letters?" blair asked leaned on ryan's shoulder.
everyone could feel the tension in the room. between blair and chuck, ryan and vanessa since she was annoyed at the fact he moved on from aubrey so quick.
"she told me that i was gonna be a star and that i was her best friend" cassie said.
"she told me to treat cassie right and to take care of ryan." nate blurted.
"she told me to know my worth" serena said.
"she thanked me for giving the rich girl a chance, and that she really cared about me" vanessa stated.
"she called me her first real love and the love of her life" ryan said.
"i can't believe she would just leave like that" dan said.
after the meeting had ended cassie, serena, and nate walked out to find serena's elegant sweet sixteen turned into a full blown rager. she looked over to her sister and jenny, and saw sydney getting mad.
"let's go eavesdrop, cassie pulled nate over to the two. the pair sat down at a table nearby to where sydney and jenny were talking. "maybe if you weren't trying to one up everyone, you would notice that i really like you, and not as a friend" she mumbled.
jenny cut the girl off by kissing her, as cassie awed.
the party ended up getting shut down by cops, followed by rufus and lily. but i guess it ended in some kind of happy ending.
