lily vanderwoodsen has decided to throw a huge thanksgiving dinner with everyone.

cassie had been doing some recording with josie before dinner.

"cassidy clara jane davis gilmore, you kissed a married congressman?!" josie gasped, "as soon as it happened I stopped it immediately!" cassie argued.

"how does nate feel about you liking his cousin?" jo asked, "i don't know" cassie laid back.

"cassie, i love you and i only want the best for you, and whatever you and tripp have going on, it's a horrible idea" josie moved closer to the girl. "i have to head to my sister's about now" she hugged cassie before leaving.

"bye josie" cassie said before going her separate way to lily's house.

"cassidy! thank you for coming!" lily greeted the girl. "of course lily, thanks for inviting me" cassie smiled.

the blonde looked around the room to see rufus, blair, eleanor,dan, vanessa, nate, chuck and cece. "cassie!" blair called out to the blonde"

"hey b!" cassie attempted to wrap her arm around the girl but was stopped. "did you know my mother's pregnant?!" she told the girl, "what?! how did you know?" cassie asked. "i found a pregnancy test" she mumbled. "i hope it's a girl" cassie smiled.

"oh my god cass" blair rolled her eyes and walked away.

cassie made her way to the end of the table and sat down with nate infront of her.

"tripp! maureen!" lily called out, "oh great" nate whispered under his breath. tripp took a seat next to cassie, she gave him an awkward smile and maureen glared at her as she whispered into nate's ear.

soon small arguing started on the other side of the table. "me and lily would like to thank all of you for coming , and before she gets back, i'd like to tell you a joke, which lily had strictly forbidden" rufus said and everyone paid attention, cassie and tripp let out a few smiles.

"how can you two sit there smiling?" maureen asked and cassie turned to look at her. "don't you have any decent?" maureen said, nate was trying to stop her, "tripp and i are going to grow old together without you, or i make my own statement" she placed her phone with the picture of them kissing in front of her, and nate laid his head back in frustration.

"your affair ends now" maureen stated, "my daughter's having an affair?!" monica said from behind. cassie took a glance at her mother and then at nate and walked away from the table.

others also left because of other arguments. ryan entered the house and saw a huge amount of chaos.

"ryan!" serena ran up to him and kissed him. "hey rena, what's going on?" he looked around.

cassie had exited the building but her mother called from behind. "cassidy! we need to talk about this "affair!" she yelled.

"so now your gonna parent?" cassie rolled her eyes. "excuse me?" she looked at the girl. "my sister died, and you don't bother to come home at all, not even for her funeral or to comfort your kids! your daughter was hit by a car, kidnapped, stalked, and you don't comfort her at all!" cassie yelled as she teared up.

"my whole life you have treated my brother better and left everything for me to do!" she cried, "my whole life i needed my mom but she was never there" she sniffed and her eyes were glossy red.

"so you are not my mom, you have no right to parent me" she sniffed and wiped her tears.

"do you think i want to parent a dirty mistress, wanna be popstar, a complete failure?" monica yelled as she looked at tripp who was waiting infront of his car.

"do you seriously mean that?" cassie asked. "i mean it so much, that i want you out of my house!" monica yelled.

"ms.davis, I'll handle it from here" nate said escorting the woman away. cassie pressed her lips together and looked up.

"i am so sorry about your mother" nate said, as cassie struggled to keep it together, "i should be apologizing to you, i wrecked everything" she said.

"i only was sent a photo of you and tripp kissing then i showed it to maureen but when i found out that you pushed him away i couldn't stop it in time" he told the girl.

"it was still my fault" she said. "why are you talking to me? i thought you hated me?" she sniffled. "i could never hate you cassie" he smiled.

"cassie!" tripp called out, "i'm leaving town for a while, and i can take you with me?" tripp called out. "yeah i really can't be here right now i'm gonna go" she turned to leave.

"cassie" nate held onto her hand. "i love you, i am in love with you, i never ever stopped. we can figure all of this out together" he told the girl.

"nate i'm sorry i really need to go" she said.
