THE TOPIC OF MONICA DAVIS WAS A COMPLICATED ONE FOR HER KIDS. her eldest twin, had been loved and babied by her his whole life while his sister wasn't cared for at all. he loved his mom until he found out she lied and killed their half sister. now he doesn't ever want to talk to her but has gone to talk to her once, thats it.
meanwhile the younger twin who was hated and forgotten her whole life and wasn't a fan of her mother at all. she also had to find out the truth alone. she's gone to see her mother a couple of times to just get closure for herself.
she had started to come every few weeks so today was one of her days.
cassie and ryan were both advised to tell their mother big things slowly because of the medication monica was on. so today cassie was going to tell her mother that she was expecting.
cassie walked into the building and made her way to the front desk. "hi! i'm cassidy davis-gilmore, i was called in to see monica davis" cassie tapped her nails on the counter as the lady pulled out the files. "oh yes! miss morgan should be waiting down the hall for you" the receptionist stated and cassie thanked her then headed towards the hall.
there stood, lorelai morgan, monica's agent and the lady who arranged the visits. "lorelai!" cassie smiled as she walked up to the woman. "cassidy, how are you?" morgan asked as they walked, "good, you?" cassie asked, "great" she replied as they reached the door. "you know the drill right?" lorelai asked and cassie nodded.
"of course, be gentle, not trigger her, don't be too open and if she gets crazy leave immediately" cassie stated and lorelai gave her a warm smile, "good luck, i'll be out here" morgan stated as cassie headed inside.
cassie walked into her mothers room it was quite tiny, it had a bed and two couches and her mother was sitting on one. "cassidy" monica exclaimed, "hey monica, how are you doing?" cassie asked as she took a seat on the couch next to her. "wonderful, how is ryan and his son?" she asked and cassie let out an annoyed breath at the question, "good, asher can talk a bit and walk now" cassie stated and monica smiled, "are you not going to ask how i am?" cassie asked.
"oh right i forgot! how are you dear? how is nate and the wedding?" the woman asked and cassie took a breath, "i'm good and nate is too. the wedding's in a couple of weeks so we're busy" cassie stated. "he really is the one for you cassidy, i can tell" she nodded and cassie let out a small smile. "we're also going to be having a baby in a few months aswell" cassie stated and monica gasped.
"what? your joking! cassidy!" monica put a hand on her chest, "i'm not, we're having a little girl" cassie smiled. "whats her name going to be?" monica asked, "we're going for either alison or brooke" cassie stated, "and for the middle name?" monica asked and cassie pressed her lips together trying to come up with a way to avoid the question since they were thinking of naming her sydney. "um its almost time for your medication monica, i should call in your nurse" cassie stood up and headed to the door.
"bye monica" cassie gave her a smile before exiting. "how was it?" lorelai asked, "good" cassie stated and for once she actually felt good after seeing her mother.
"i'll see you in a few weeks?" lorelai questioned and cassie turned back to her, "see you in a few weeks" cassie smiled before turning back around.
