CASSIE WAS CURRENTLY AT AUBREY AND RYAN'S PLACE, WORKING ON A TO-DO LIST FOR LAST MINUTE WEDDING THINGS OR HER OWN LIFE SINCE THE WEDDING IS NEXT WEEK.
"okay so we have to pick up the bridesmaid dresses, check if the album copies are printed-" cassie said and aubrey checked her laptop.
"i just checked joesphine has many printed and they are supposed to ship to the rest of the us by today" she pointed and cassie mouthed a quick "thank god".
"we need to pick up the bridesmaid dresses, make sure hotel reservations for guests that are flying in are booked, check if the venue is all decorated, pack up your apartment"
"i actually did that" cassie interrupted and aubrey checked it off her list, "okay! and finally get ourselves a spa day" aubrey closed the book.
"thanks for all your help aubrey even though you can't be in the wedding" cassie frowned. "thats what best friend's are for cass, and screw anastasia halton and her fame loving husband" aubrey smiled as she and cassie walked out of the house.
cassie and aubrey had just reached the store and walked up to checkup. "hi! i'm cassidy davis-gilmore, and i was told my bridesmaid dresses are ready" cassie leaned over the counter. "what color?" the receptionist asked with an accent. "i think they were gold with lots of sparkles" cassie said. "okay, i bring them out right now" the lady hopped up to bring 4 very tacky gold dresses.
"oh my god" aubrey gasped and cassie's eyes widened at how extra the dresses were. "why are they so short?" aubrey asked, "you could practically wear them to a club" cassie whispered into her best friends ear.
"oh thank god were done for today" aubrey leaned into the passenger's seat. "who knew celebrity weddings were so tiring?" cassie breathed. "let's go to the spa, on me" aubrey winked as cassie started to drive. "oh, okay" cassie smiled.
the two entered the fancy spa and met with the lady. "hi! i'm aubrey collins and we booked a spa day, wedding style" she looked back at the blonde.
the two got changed into robes and got into a mud bath. "oh aubs, this feels so good" cassie breathed. "i know right" she agreed.
"um listen, there's something i wanted to talk to you about" aubrey turned to her friend who was on the verge of falling asleep. "is about you and my brother? its about time" cassie blinked. "no its about james and aurora" aubrey said.
"what?" cassie looked over at her and aubrey took a deep breath. "i was out yesterday and passed by a small cafe in brooklyn and i saw james and aurora together alone in there" aubrey blurted. "so?" cassie furrowed her brows.
"i hang out with nate, chuck and dan alone and its casual, i trust james" cassie said. "okay but it didn't seem casual" aubrey said. "what were they doing?" cassie asked. "they were leaning in close to each other and trying to bite each others ice creams off" aubrey looked away.
"aubrey" cassie rolled her eyes and aubrey spoke up to defend herself. the two continued arguing, even in the chairs where they were getting their hair done.
"james also seems super off, hes a brat" aubrey stated as she turned her head sideways while she was getting her now brunette hair styled, and her stylist pushed her head back.
"shut up, your just mad because you can't get anyone" cassie turned to look at her friend. "that is so not true" aubrey spat back. "i hope your hair turns orange" cassie looked away from her.
"i hope your marriage ends in divorce" aubrey crossed her arms. "like your parents?" cassie laughed and aubrey stood up, paid her bill and left, leaving cassie all alone.
that night cassie walked into the spectator party as a brand new person, her hair was lighter and longer, eyelashes were done, and just overall looked fresher.
she looked over at charlie, penelope, and jessica who were doing blair's bridesmaid contest and noticed none of them were nate's date. "i see none of you guys were able to get nate archibald" cassie whispered to the three who were frowning.
"what do i do now?" charlie whisper panicked, "just stand out" cassie whispered before walking away.
the blonde made her way to the drinks station to grab a drink when she overheard two people talking in the next room, she looked over to see james and aurora hugging.
"i love you james, i always have. i don't want this to be secret hookups and secret dates anymore, i want us to eat in fancy restaurants and get caught by paparazzi" rory leaned in closer to him.
"i know baby, i know. i want you more than anything" he cradled her. "then why are you marrying her?" she whined. "its giving us so much fame and money, i'll stay with her for a year, the album skyrockets, we go on tour, maybe have a kid and then i leave her with out a trace" james ranted and cassie cupped her mouth with her hand.
"i don't care about cassie or anyone else, my parents are on board, you are, thats all i need" he pulled her in closer and cassie ran out of the room.
cassie was in practical shock, aubrey was right. she sat in a cab thinking about everything between them and how it was just a lie. she couldn't even cry or scream she was just in shock.
she quickly knocked on the door of josie's apartment waiting for her to open the door. "cassie? whats wrong?" she asked noticing the girls face.
"the album can't release" cassie panted. "what? why?" josie pulled the girl inside. "james and aurora are having an affair" cassie croaked. "oh my god" josie put her hand on her chest.
"i have an idea" cassie said and josie looked up. "how much time do you have?" cassie asked. "i just need to get my mom settled in back home tomorrow but other than that i'm all yours" josie smirked and her and cassie walked into the studio.
"okay so, i have a bunch of songs, so we record them, get them into an album and on the wedding day when mine and james's album is supposed to release we release the new revenge one inside" cassie said and josie pulled out her phone.
"i'm in. i'm gonna let nathan know so he can kick james off his contract" josie said and cassie smiled at her. "i'm in love with him cassie, i can't let him go down in the crossfires" she laughed and cassie nodded, knowing how much josie deserves this.
a few minutes josie returned and nodded, letting cassie know they were ready. "were gonna need to start right now, you ready?" josie and asked, and cassie nodded.
