CASSIE WAS AT HOME TAKING A LONG NAP WHEN SOMEONE SHOOK HER AWAKE. she looked at the clock to see its nine, and then behind her to see nate shaking her up. "nate? what the hell its nine in the morning, i'm tired and so is your child" cassie groaned. "its actually nine pm but nice try love" nate laughed.
"let me nap in peace please" she stated, "i would but we gotta go to dan and blair's salon, its important" nate told the girl, "be ready in ten!" he said as he left the room. "i really do need my roots done" cassie said as she got up to get ready.
cassie, nate and chuck made their way to the entrance of the humphrey house. "why did we get a late invite? should we even be here?" cassie asked, "apparently lola has some news to share so she invited ryan and told him to bring me so i brought you two" chuck told the girl.
"i wanna go back to sleep" cassie complained as she rested her head on nate's shoulder, "hey guys" ryan said as he approached the group, "hey" nate smiled at the gilmore. "lets head up?" ryan asked and the group followed.
the group walked into the salon to see blair and aubrey near the door. "what are you doing here?!" blair raised her voice and aubrey's mouth opened. "ryan invited us, what are we doing here?" chuck whispered to ryan as lola came running up.
"hi, hi!" lola smiled as she grabbed ryan's hand. "why are you inviting people to my salon?! explain yourself" blair yelled as cassie and nate walked over to aubrey.
"why were you invited but not us?!" cassie asked, "well actually i came with my boyfriend, meet blake" aubrey said as a tall brunette wrapped his arm around her. "hey i'm blake nice to meet you" he smiled as he shook nate's hand, "nate archibald, this is my fiancée cassidy davis-gilmore" he stated, "hey" cassie gave a small smile.
"we've been seeing eachother for a while. blake is actually really smart! dan and blair love him" aubrey grinned as they walked away.
cassie and nate sat down with chuck and the three were just chatting. "you lied to me archibald" cassie glared, "you told me we were going to a salon" cassie stated. "i didn't say it was a hair salon" nate laughed as he wrapped an arm around the blonde.
everyone heard a notification of a live stream from gossip girl so they tuned in. but once it was over it changed lives.
diana walked out of the room with serena following her. "is it true?" chuck asked coldly. "yes charles it is" diana said coming closer. "don't just don't come here. stay right there. you have been in new york for months. inviting me to parties, hiring my friends, hanging out at my apartment and banging my best friend. did it not occur to you to mention this? that you were my mother!" chuck ranted with no emotion.
"please chuck i can explain" diana pleaded as cassie glared at her, "i can't do this right now, or ever i can't!" chuck quickly got up and left the room. "come on" cassie whispered to nate and the two followed chuck.
cassie, chuck and nate just stayed at the apartment in silence until diana came. "oh look what the cat dragged in" cassie mumbled.
"nate, i need to speak with you, and chuck" diana said to nate who was in the living room with cassie. "they don't have anything to say to you. you need to leave, now" cassie said sternly. "now diana" nate said, as chuck came into the room.
"its okay, i may be angry but i need to know the truth" chuck told the group as cassie and nate headed out to give them some privacy. "watch what you say" cassie whispered to the woman who was quite intimidated.
cassie and nate walked around the streets of new york in silence. "were okay right?" nate asked his fiancée and she looked at him. "of course, why wouldn't we be?" cassie asked back, "cause i was banging chuck's mom" nate scoffed, slightly mad at himself. "you didn't know nate, well i hope you didn't" cassie laughed.
"i am so going to tell our kids this story" cassie chuckled and nate did too, "no your not" he looked at her. "yes i am" she smiled and the two kept bantering, while walking around.
