CASSIE WALKED INTO THE BUILDING WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HER SCHOOL. cassie had been hiding aubrey at cassie's mom's place for last two days since no one was home.
cassie and nate had decided to tell everyone to meet them for lunch to discuss the aubrey situation.
she made her way to the floor where vanessa and blair lived. she looked around to see another blonde looking for blair aswell.
"serena?" cassie called out. "cassie hey!" she walked to the girl. "how are you?" she asked. "i'm good, actually can we meet for lunch-"
cassie caught a glimpse of a shoeless and shirtless dan humphrey. "ew hunphrey!" cassie gagged. "serena, cassie" he blinked. "i-i was just visiting vanessa" he stammered. "visiting vanessa would cause you to have no shoes" serena questioned. "and no shirt" cassie added.
"yeah she's doing some cult thing" he scratched the back of his head. "oh hey guys" vanessa came out from her room behind.
"if vanessa's room is over here, than" serena thought as vanessa walked over to the 3.
"please tell me it was blair and not georgina" serena pleaded.
"please tell me it was georgina and not blair!" vanessa gasped.
"just tell me it wasn't either of them" cassie sighed.
the 4 head to vanessa's room to talk. "i'm hooking up with georgina but it isn't serious" he stated. "okay then, i have to run but i need to tell everyone something" cassie stood up.
"aubrey's back and she has serious news, and we all are going to meet up for lunch for her to tell everyone" cassie said. "she's back?!" vanessa gasped, and cassie nodded. "for good?" dan asked and cassie nodded again. "where is she now?" serena asked.
"she's talking to ryan and i have to go pick her up now" cassie headed towards the door. "cass, what's the news? is it bad" serena asked in concern. "well" cassie gulped, "it's dirty" she said before leaving.
that day at lunch, cassie, aubrey and nate waited at the table for everyone to start showing up. "is ryan coming?" the boy turned to cassie. "ask her" she glared, "he was mad" aubrey avoided eye contact. "yeah no shit he was mad!" cassie raised her voice. "cassie" nate spoke softly. "he said he needs time to think, he won't be coming" aubrey said.
"ill give him a call later" nate said. vanessa and dan walked into the restaurant. "aubrey" vanessa called out. "v! dan!" she went to hug the two.
right after blair, chuck and serena came in aswell. "aubrey" blair gasped in shock. "aubrey!" serena eagerly hugged the girl.
once everyone sat down the table started clamoring with questions, and aubrey tried to speak. "guys let the girl speak!" nate told everyone and they all went quiet.
"right everyone, i'm so sorry for leaving out of the blue and leaving with only letters." aubrey started as cassie and blair glared.
"the reason why i left, is because i'm pregnant" she whispered. "what?!" dan and vanessa gasped. "no way!" serena put her hands to her head. "with?" chuck raised a brow
"what do you mean by with chuck?" aubrey turned to the boy, "with a baby of course!" she gasped.
"okay but why'd you leave?" blair glared, "because i'm pregnant blair?" she said. "we could have helped you, you didn't have to leave" blair told the girl. "i was scared, and i felt completely alone!" she stood up. "you know how much my brother likes you", how he would have helped but you decided to fuck up everything and leave!" cassie chimed in.
"well cassidy and blair, i didn't want to be known as the the irresponsible teenager that fucked up her whole life because i know i am" she broke down and walked out sobbing.
"you guys were a bit too harsh on her" serena stood up. "aubs! aubrey!" she called out walking after the girl.
that night cassie and blair were getting ready for the sotheby auction that night. "god I can't believe she's actually back" blair spoke.
"i know" cassie agreed. "oh my god, i just got my instructions for my invite for the table e'litare!" blair jumped. "I should go tell chuck, bye!" she ran out of the room.
cassie arrived at the auction and saw nate and bree kissing. it made her feel weird. but why? she didn't like nate anymore.
"cassie!" blair called out. "guess what?! chuck is bidding against me for the painting!" she screamed. "why is he doing that?" cassie asked. "for some partnership deal, do you believe that?" she crossed her eyes. "what type of boyfriend does that?! put his happiness over mine!"
cassie laughed and headed inside.
during the bidding she noticed chuck and blair bidding against each other and were slightly distracted.
"seventy four hundred?" the announcer called out. cassie raised her paddle. "sold for seventy four hundred to 917" he called out and blair and chuck turned to cassie. she glared at the two and walked out.
"cassie!" blair and chuck walked up to the girl who was with serena. "why would you do that?!" blair yelled, "you both have gone crazy over this" cassie raised her voice.
"and why have you guys been messing with carter?!" serena scolded. "i'm not apart of this but take the stupid painting" cassie handed it over and left.
"the girl on the street and the room service" serena told them as cassie left.
