CASSIE AND JOSIE WERE CURRENTLY MEETING TO TALK ABOUT BUISNESS AND THEIR OWN LIVES.
"how are you and nathan?" cassie asked the brunette who was now very cheery at the subject. "we're going to hawaii this weekend, and i think he might propose" she squealed and cassie's jaw dropped. "no way! how do you know?!" cassie asked.
"i saw a ring in his bedroom drawer" she winked and cassie laughed, "i am so happy for you jo!" cassie smiled, "thanks cass" she smiled.
"have you spoken to james and aurora since the wedding?" josie asked, "nope but i heard they're together now, good for them" cassie rolled her eyes. "i guess but onto a better note, how's the wedding planning going?" joesphine asked the blonde.
"i mean most of it is all done, i just need my dress, the cake, and bridesmaid dresses" cassie stated, "god i can't wait, i love you and nate together" the brunette smiled, "me too" cassie smiled back.
"well i should go i'm supposed to meet nate for lunch" cassie said as she started to get up.
cassie walked towards the the car but felt repeated pains in her stomach. "ow" she winced as she thought of the worst. could her baby be dying? is something bad happening?
"hello, ms.gilmore am i taking you to lunch with your fiancée?" the driver asked as she got into the car. "um actually can you drop me off at the emergency room" cassie said as she placed a hand on her stomach.
cassie just finished checking herself in at the hospital and sat on a chair to wait. her phone had been ringing with texts and calls but she was too scared to check so she waited the next few hours in silence.
"cassidy davis-gilmore?" the doctor called and the blonde followed him to her room.
"so what seems to be the problem today?" she asked as cassie sat on the table. "i have this really sharp pain and it hurts" she frantically stammered, "oh its happening again" she winced. "let me feel" the doctor placed a hand on her stomach.
"oh cassidy dear, your baby's kicking" the doctor laughed softly, "what?" cassie asked, "your baby's kicking, feel" she took the blonde's hand and placed it on her stomach. "oh my" cassie smiled. "i'll show you the quick workup i did" the doctor pulled out her chart and showed the girl.
"the vitals, gender, heart rate, all of it is here" she read and cassie gasped quietly, "the gender of my baby?" cassie smiled. "oh i'm so sorry did you not want to know?"
"no its okay" cassie smiled.
later that night cassie returned back home to find nate pacing in there apartment. "hey where were you? you left me hanging" nate asked, with worry. "nate sit down" cassie sat down on the couch and he followed.
"give me your hand" cassie asked and he handed her his hand in curiosity. "our baby's kicking" she said with happy tears in her eyes. "oh my god, its kicking" nate gasped.
"its actually a she" cassie looked up at nate who was in shock. "were having a girl?" nate asked and cassie nodded, both having tears of happiness in there eyes as nate pulled her in for a hug.
