THE STUDENTS OF CONSTANCE AND ST JUDES have finally reached the stage of the yearly senior play. this year "the age of innocence" was chosen.
our upper east side's princess doesn't have a role in the play but will be preforming a musical number in between act one and two.
"i can't believe that this is a senior requirement" dan said. "or that chuck got the docter to diagnose him with acute stage fright so he wouldn't have to participate" nate laughed.
cassie was practicing her dance steps but turned around when she heard nate. "no way he did that?!" cassie gasped. "should have gone with mercury poisoning" dan said.
penelope was helping the blonde get ready for the play along with nelly and isabel. she was applying mascara on the gilmore's eyelashes when a loud scream interrupted. penelope dropped the wand onto cassie's cheek, and apologized quickly. "shoot cass, i'm so sorry" she said. "damn you p" cassie groaned. "sorry" the brunette went quite. "relax penelope i was joking" cassie laughed.
the two were interrupted when blair stormed into the room. "what is going on?!" she asked. "nelly just got into yale early!" isabel shoved the phone in blair's face. "what?! yale only accepts one constance student a year, me!" she exaggerated. "congratulations nelly, you deserve it" cassie smiled before leaving.
cassidy and nate walked towards the stage together both dressed up in their costumes. "i can't believe your actually into this stuff" nate teased. "are you kidding? we get a break from school, get to play dress up for free, and we get to meet broadway's hottest and up coming, and the fact that we get to do age of innocence puts the icing on the cake" cassie smiled.
she has an interest for music, books and old movies while nate is the opposite.
"ugh but the age of innocence is the most boring book ever" he groaned and cassie made a face at him. "what!? its true, guy and girl wanna be together but can't" he said.
"nate! the story's in the details, the act of unbuttoning a glove expresses the characters inner passion" cassie stated. "i can think of many other ways to express my inner passion" he smirked then placed a kiss on his girlfriends lips.
after the dress rehearsal cassie noticed a small frown on serena's face after talking to julian so she walked up to her.
"so how does it feel to be playing may welland?" cassie asked. "seems like my character's rubbing off on me" serena looked over at julian. "may's fiance pays no attention to her, and as for me"
cassie turns to look at julian. "your talking about julian?" she whispered. serena let out a soft smile. "hey julian, me and my best friend cassie would love to hear about your vision for the show, how about we grab a bite to eat?" serena asked looking over at cassie.
