CASSIE ran down the stairs of her father's house. she was currently on her way to an interview about her new song.
"cassidy what did i say about running on the stairs?" her father scolded. "sorry dad, but i have to go, ill be back for prom!" cassie hurried to the door. "be back by 6, so me and j can get you ready, because honey you look like.." sydney joked.
cassie looked into the mirror to check if she looked fine. "cass, go you look fine" andrew glared at sydney. "what? i miss my girlfriend" she sighed.
"GOOD MORNING FOLKS! AND WELCOME BACK TO ANOTHER EPISODE OF MORNING TALKS WITH MATTHEW CARTER , AND TODAY'S GUEST. PLEASE WELCOME PRINCESS TO POPSTAR, CASSIDY DAVIS GILMORE!" the audience roared as cassie walked onto the set.
"hi jerry! hey everyone!" cassie waved. "cassidy its so great to see you!" he hugged the girl. "we all adore your song!" he complimented. "thank you, but literally the whole reason its getting publicity and attention is thanks to my wonderful producer joesphine walker" she smiled.
"wow she seems amazing, but do tell us how you started singing" matthew asked. "well i've always been interested in broadway, and my mom enrolled me in musical theater from when i was like 4 to 8" she used her hands to talk, "but i hated doing it" "this whole thing started when my sister and her girlfriend begged me to sing at their fashion show, and then i got deals and i met josie, and she helped me get the song out." she smiled.
"who are your biggest supporters?" he asked, "definitely, my younger sister sydney and my boyfriend nate" she giggled.
after the interview cassie made her way to the coffee shop, and paparazzi was surrounding her. "cassie cassie! over here!" a man shouted. she gave a few poses before heading in.
while she waited for her coffee, the blonde called serena, "hey babes, ready for prom tonight?" cassie asked on the phone. "um about that, i'm still in jail" serena muttered. "girl what?! i thought lily bailed you out?!" cassie asked in shock. "i'm being mature, and staying in here until my mother lets me live my own life" she retaliated. "but you enjoy prom with nate, you deserve it! i gotta go though i don't wanna abuse my phone privileges."
"if you come out of there with a mullet and tattoos, i am going to kill you" cassie said. "i won't, love you cass"
"love you too serena, bye" she hung up the phone.
"ow jenny! loosen it a bit please!" jenny and sydney were currently helping the girl get ready for prom. "it feels like my boobs are gonna burst!"
"relax i'm almost done" jenny said fixing up the backside. "alright your ready" jenny said putting an arm around syd's shoulder.
"oh my god, the dress is beautiful!" cassie gasped in awe. she was wearing a long mermaid red dress, with sequins and laced down the middle.
"your beautiful cass" sydney said. "i can't believe your going to college and leaving me behind" she hugged her sister. "i'm gonna come visit you all the time" she hugged the girl back. "i love you cassie" sydney started to cry.
"sydney, don't make me cry, i just did my makeup" cassie placed a kiss on her sister's head.
cassie walked down the stairs with her father, charlie and nate watching from the door.
"you look gorgeous cassie" nate couldn't take his eyes off the girl. "honey you look amazing" charlotte and andrew gasped.
cassie and nate arrived at prom and blair had ran up to the blonde and hugged her. "you look amazing cassie!" she squealed. "blair your dress, the scrapbook! its beautiful!" cassie smiled as blair twirled.
blair had forced ryan, nate and cassie to take the perfect prom pictures for 30 minutes straight.
"b! are we done yet?!" cassie groaned. "not yet, ryan come with me!" blair grabbed.
"i can not wait to take this dress off you" he placed a kiss on her neck. "nate!" she giggled. "oh my god cassie look" he told the girl. "serena!"
the blonde rushed up to cassie and nate with dan following behind her. "you don't have a mullet!" cassie hugged the girl. "or tattoos!" she hugged the girl back.
the four talked for a few minutes but were interrupted by blair screaming.
cassie and serena ran to check what was happening. "b? what happened?" cassie asked in concern. "hes trying to sabotage me!" blair screamed. "hes putting in more nelly yuki ballots, and i bet you ruined my dress, limo and flowers too" she miffed, and ryan glared.
"our constance prom queen and king are! blair waldorf and ryan davis gilmore!"" penelope announced.
"we won baby!" ryan escorted her to the stage.
"oh my gosh!" blair squealed as ryan hugged her.
"i can't believe blair won!" serena smiled. "yeah who even voted for her?" dan remarked. "me about a 150 times" chuck said proudly. "wait what?!" nate said in shock. "i wasn't putting the nelly yuki ballots in, i was taking them out" he told the group.
"oh my god its like a rom com in real life!" cassie leaned onto nate.
after a bit cassie, serena and blair sat outside. "wheres the king?" cassie asked the waldorf while smoking her cigarette.
"we broke up" blair pressed her lips together. "what why? you guys were like a fairytale" serena asked. "fairytales end when they do for a reason.
"i'm sorry blair" serena laid her head on her shoulder and cassie did too. "i'm sorry for you too serena, that you almost missed prom because your mom had you arrested" cassie laughed, "i mean we fixed things and i know she did it out of love" serena sighed.
"y'know what poor cassie, she got ran over by a car, stalked, and beaten by her ex" blair laughed.
"what type of shit have we been through this year?" cassie joked. "boyfriends, mean girls, tests, teachers, drugs" serena stated. "and our crazy mothers" cassie added.
"we went through it all together" the girls grabbed each others hands. "you guys are my sisters, my soulmates, my people, my best friends, i love you guys so much" cassie smiled. "i love you both too" blair hugged the two.
"you know, i keep thinking that there's a chance that aubrey might show up" cassie turned to look at the two. "i miss her all the time" serena said. "me too" blair sighed.
