"WHAT ARE YOU UP TOO FOR VALENTINES DAY?" aubrey asked her best friend who was holding her child. "i set up a night full of romantic comedies, horror, and my excellent baking skills" cassie smiled.
"nice, whats for dinner? is dan cooking? please say yes, because you suck" aubrey stated and cassie gasped. "do not!"
"do too! thank god nate was the one cooking" aubrey walked closer to the girl. "he was the better cook but i wasn't horrible" cassie paused, "lets hope you don't end up as rude as your mommy asher" cassie cooed at the baby before handing him to her best friend.
"come on honey, lets go put you down" aubrey smiled as she headed towards the baby's room. "thats your son! not a dog" cassie rolled her eyes in shock. "i'm putting him down for a nap cass?"
that evening cassie waited in her penthouse for dan to show up with dinner. she had baked heart shaped cookies and her special brownies. she had also decorated the place with balloons and candles and got herself ready nicely too.
she had texted dan to come by and pick up the fancy thai take out she ordered but he still wasn't here yet.
it had been an hour and half since dan was supposed to show up and now he finally showed up, with a pizza box?
"where were you?" cassie asked sternly. "sorry, blair needed to talk to me and we got, kinda lost in conversation" he blurted, not wanting to lie to his girlfriend. "whats all this?" he asked dropping the pizza box on the counter. "is it my birthday?"
"no you idiot! its valentines day" she crossed her arms. "oh my god, this pizza isn't even cooked dan! what happened to the thai? i already placed the order, all i did was ask you to pick it up?!" cassie yelled.
"i'm sorry! it was across town and when i saw the time, i was already late to meet you!" he told the girl. "i am so so sorry cassie" he tried pulling the girl in for a hug but she had walked away.
"please let me make it up to you" he begged. "just please leave" she asked. "cass-" he started.
"i said, get out. now dan" she breathed and he headed out the door.
the blonde turned on a random movie and cried for the rest of the night.
